actually the word your looking for is sellout...not journalist - HHG blows his load to whichever company will give him the time of day no matter the product. access to 48 games for 50 bucks over the course of the year is a great deal, and if the service stays the same it only gets better the more years your subscribing - you really amass quite the library.

sorry Peter Moore, but if i cant sell my Madden 11 for a decent amount on ebay (online pass will cause used value to plummet) I wont be in-line to buy Madden 12 new - thats the only way i can reason with myself to give 40-60 bucks for whats essentially the same game.

I'm also a big too human fan, now I probably would have felt a little bad if I had spent 60 on it, but I got mine for 10 new, and I can easily say i would have paid more for it and been okay with it. The biggest complaint for me would have been online limited to 2 players, and needed more map variety - which is something a sequel could have brought us, but im not so sure about TH's future now :s

My trailers never loaded properly either for the most part but after about 10 minutes of blank screen i still got my credit and just watched the stuff on gametrailers. It also lost connection a lot, looks like they underestimated the popularity of it.

Everyone should keep in mind that premium content will most likely come from games that are related to Sony's studios. But at least the good news is Sony is responsible for a crap-ton of good games.
I wouldn't expect too much from 3rd parties outside of avatars and discounted add-on packs (once the initial sells dry up). But I guess we will see who the more generous corporations are (or at least desperate for sells) by what they let Sony offer... I'll bet 10 buck...

consumers already shot themselves in the foot... not only did this overpriced DLC sale well, it broke records... So in all honesty they are probably thinking when they want to try for a 20 dollar map pack - activision is now known as a company who breaks barries in pricing and not in a good way...they were the first to have a 60 dollar PC game and now 15 dollars for 5 crappy maps including no effort remakes of old maps...lol.
