Im not sure the Wii U will provide the right audience for a AAA MMO...well at least if it requires a subscription.
if mods were available for consoles most people here would probably take advantage of them even if it took some work. Some console games let you store huge chucks on info on an HD just to save a few seconds of loading time and many console players love that feature no matter how minimal the gain is.
Most people like squeezing more out of their systems and games for free.
Bottom Line = more chances to sell DLC
they want the 15 dollar map packs to sell.
I would be surprised if its a car combat game just because bioware is focused on big profits these days and car combat games, while successful, are not insanely profitable. Bioware wants big profitable franchises and whats a big proftiable genre that they havent touched? FPS games. I think the focus on the car is a bit too much, I'll throw in my guess for the game to be a Borderlands clone with a lot of story mechanics ripped straight from SWTOR.
standard k/b and mouse work in the OS and if the game supports it both are fully functional, unfortunately the only game that i know of is Unreal Tournament 3.
this is a pay to win move by sony, this mouse and pad probably cost about 5 bucks to make at most. But regardless it'll make anyone with decent motor skills better then 90% of pad users.
BUT, what a joke of a gamepad, not only the cost, but the lack of buttons and then they put them in the worst layout possible. Hopefully 3rd parties come up with something better or i can just plug in a mouse and k/b in games that support this.
yeah you can google for info on how to replace but popular things like ipods/iphones there are usually TONS of step by step youtube videos as well.
The batteries are pretty cheap on ebay and lots of them come with the simple plastic tool you need to open your case. On ebay search something like iphone/ipod battery replacement you should see some with tools included.
Parapraxis already stated this for DS3 but almost everything that has tried to lock down a battery, including ipods/phones, has been easily cracked... and found an easy way to replace them, yes even by yourself. Not that i expect vita's screen to be easily replaceable as i have no idea how OLED work but you can do a heck of a lot of things to gadgets by yourself these days thanks to ebay....i recently just changed my cfl light in my laptop that burnt out for 15 bucks, if you would take th...
AMD/ATI will revamp the entire laptop industry with trinity, just gotta wait for it.
nice article, i actually just beat #2 a couple of hours ago (cleaning up steam backlog) and was cool to see an article on it immediately after.
It was a pretty fun game and it reminded me of an age of videogames where companies did trying something a little different just like you said; My first thoughts upon playing for a bit were "this game feels like it should have been on Dreamcast" it would have fit right in with the library.
But i have to say im ...
This is just a PR stunt to get more people to pre-order there is no way they are going to refuse sales. They just want people to think they might cut off supply so they will make sure and get their order in.
xbox box fanboy hears game might be an exclusive = headlines read ps3 exclusives are crap anyway....
developer announces game is going multiplat headlines read = 360 steals AAA title from ps3 LOLOLOLOL!!!!
well nvidia said they wouldn't, ATI said they would before years end. Unfortunately its not known what card ATI will release it could just be a new midrange card followed later by their high end or they could all release at once.
more info will probably be available by mid-late sept.
Single player = one play through and never wanted to see it again
Multiplayer = played it through once then rolled alts and did it again and bought all DLC
:>
This game really shines with friends, but single player felt kinda empty
I loved Warband, i recommend anyone remotely interested to try it, there is a demo on Steam.
I also encourage to look at mods for the game before starting a long game...there are a lot of mods that improve the overall experience.
There are some shortcomings but the unique gameplay more then makes up for it, but its definitely not for everyone.
derp, if you buy the game in general your supporting Origins, regardless if you buy it retail or not.
I dont like EA and their practices, general attitude and dont want to support them either but I really liked BFBC2 (bought it on steam for 6 bucks sometime last year) and it has totally won me over when i didnt even expect to play it that much....just bought it cause it was cheap and looking for something new to try with my friends.
But just be honest with yo...
Im liking Rift pretty well and will probably continue to play it till SWTOR+GW2
I think I will hate to leave rift once the time comes though, but keeping multiple subs just isnt worth it since both would be so time consuming and would end up getting no where fast in either game.
I also hated to see the comment about the UI comparison to WoW. The UI isnt going to be original in any mmo because thats just how it works, yes even in MMOs before WoW (gasp). All an...
this videocard is a complete waste of money at this time ....you can get a 5770 which is slighty worse for like 80 after rebate or you can get a lot more power with a 6850 for roughly the same price....or + 20 considering rebates.
Unfortunately your not going anywhere with that cpu haha, a 5770 + a better cpu would likely be the better choice. I would have to research to find the best choice but there are plenty of nice AMD quads and even a 6 core ranging from 109-149 current...
you should have probably bought a different PC then, thats pretty bad
I cant believe it, no PSO on that list, i thought that was guaranteed to be on anyone's list haha
Anyway, the Dreamcast wasnt overloaded with games but the games it did have were some of the best ever.
Personally, my list would start out something like
Quake 3
PSO
Armada
Seaman
