Now granted im sure it is a "major" investment, but I'm sure whatever the number is, it is pretty much chump change to blizzard now - not to mention it'll probably be profitable within a few months upon release with the hype train that will surround it. I just wonder if their going the sci-fi route to directly compete with SWToR
I love xfire, i like it better then steam as far as using it for gaming purposes go...it has many more features, unfortunately no one beats steam when it comes to steam sales...
yeah he includes an edit to fix the team name spelling... yet doesnt notice the fact that the Minnesota Bucks do not exist in the first place...smfh hilarious. N4G quality articles at its best.
I can see where its the most anticipated game for the xbox community considering..well its pretty much the only game they will have this fall-Christmas outside of a couple of big name multiplatform games. Next year is Gears 3 then you can pretty much stick a fork in the system, because its done. MS will hurry on their way to the "next box" and establish a foothold in next gen territory.
ah yes an octocore that isnt even out yet, care to provide starcraft II benchmarks on it?. Its not like they wont be made for windows systems and still cost quite less in an overall package..lol apple fanboys :< Do you even realize that ever since apple switched to Intel that its just standard PC components wrapped in apple software? Do you even realize that a game would have to be incredibly optimized to take advantage of 8 cores when most devs dont even take advantage of 4?
i now have a love/hate relationship with bioware...they do make some great games, but they are releasing way too much DLC thats short and overpriced. People who buy the game at launch now find themselves spending another 50 bucks + just to get the "complete" story...making for a 100-120 dollar game that lasts around 12 hours.
This makes me really scared for SWToR, especially after watching Blizzard turn into a money hungry company. WoW is okay and all but their cust...
dont get me wrong, I would love to see a psp2...but i dont know why they would announce one when they are pouring the most money ever into marketing the psp and making what seems to be some of the best games of its life. It would totally destroy any hype the first one has going as more then likely those without one would either #1 wait for the new one to buy #2 wait for another price drop since a new one is coming out.
Also with the reported Tegra 2 issues (uses too much powe...
yeah sony should pay for my netflix and gamefly too, and maybe the electric bill since i have to pay it to use my ps3.
easy to explain, those 4 consoles you bought and returned to walmart for RRoD'ing within a few months all count as sells, just saying...
of course he likes games
1. Make a CoD game
2. Profit!!
He loves games!
I loved this game back in the day, always loved nice water effects haha.
blame it on the internet...i can remember being young and you only knew about E3 and games in general from magazines that were like 20-30 bucks a year. I usually subscribed to the majority of them, and if I didnt i always bought their E3 issue.
In todays world nothing is a secret, we have HD video trailers at our finger tips, and most magazines subs can be had for dirt cheap if you wait for a sale.
why so serious?
if your really that good it shouldnt be stressfull at all unless all you live for is K:D ratio, if your not (so good) go back to single player with "bullet time" and predictable A.I. and rejoice in your mediocrity. Honestly it just sounds like a whine post of someone who thinks he is better gamer then he is /shrug. The online world is a big place and there are going to be all kinds of players better and worse, and most of these games have some cheap ...
I *would* be for upgradeable consoles if it werent for the fact that the next gen of consoles, should have a massive powerboost since tech has advanced quite a bit AND has become cheaper...
The next consoles should do 1080p @ 30+ fps without a problem, 3D, & decent physics...considering what developers are able to achieve on such anemic hardware already, the next gen consoles should really remove all limitations on what can be created. Years ago when the Ram numbers were ...
after reading your sentence I still dont see any separation, people can still play online together whether they pay or not, its not like bringing a game home and finding out the multiplayer component doesn't work till you spend another 50.
its really not about PS+ being that great, its more about XBL Gold being that bad.
he's probably thinking profit wise... takes minimal amount of money to make, and they sell like hotcakes because people will buy anything for a dollar or 2.
Or he could be thinking of wayyyyyyyyyyy into the future, when these handhelds have massive power and can just be "docked" into your entertainment center...but by then pc gaming will probably have moved to "holodeck" gaming. (the future of eyefinity)
this is why japan's economy is not nearly as bad as ours, if this was an American company he would make 200 million while using the company credit card for personal reasons - while going bankrupt and pointing fingers at his assistant's assistant.
Here in America, people with more money then they can possibly spend whine over raises yearly and give themselves a raise.
original content? lolololololol I see the same thing on n4g everyday, crappy articles that have amazing headlines and then once you go to the site its like a 3rd graders book report, copied straight from some other site. Most articles lead you to believe that there is some content waiting for you at the link, but its usually just one paragraph of reading the same thing some other guy posted 3 pages ago, or its negative Playstation 3 FUD, thats not even close to true.
n4g is ...
*suddenly remembers reading videogame magazines discussing near perfect ports of arcade games
That used to be big news at the time haha
dont worry arcades in a few years you may be back once ATI's eyefinity can simulate a holodeck.
