i'll be playing on PC so it doesnt really affect me, but are they really going to give the big maps to console players yet only have 24 players? (with 22 out of 24 being a recon class probably.
Sounds like a recipe for no action
yeah who puts an emphasis on accuracy when your playing a shooter anyway??
/facepalm
The only reason why console players think they are so good with a pad is because developers have catered to your needs by making slower paced games. Games like UT and Quake used to be the pinnacle of competition because of the skill required...but making casuals acquire skill hurts sales so now all we have are slow shooters that rely on graphics and noob tubes.
everyone always says no, then it goes on to break DLC sales records
yeah, if Fox news wanted a blockbuster story on the negativity of videogames they should just visit N4G comments section.
eh its free money... and the game is probably going to sale a lot anyway; it may actually benefit them to release it early next year when not much competition is around and everyone is bored of their Christmas games... The PS3 will have a few games around that time but the 360 is pretty much open territory outside of Gears - it should do very well.
what? you really think casuals wont buy GT5?
Heck most people I knew back in the day only bought sports games, Grand theft Auto, and Gran Turismo - Gran turismo is a feature rich game for hardcore gamers but casuals eat it up too if not more so.
hmm 500 million + marketing budget = likely a stunt to attract attention.
Anyone remember EA's Dante's inferno "protesters" stunt?
You can pre-order Kinect still yet from many places. Who lines up for something thats readily available?
Dont buy into this hype, ray tracing is still so far off its not even funny. But on the upside Devs are bound to develop many new tricks on future hardware - to where you wont even desire ray tracing anymore.
@Seraphim
you can say it brought a lot of casual gamers into the market, but really thats no a benefit to 90% of the people here, it just promotes talent and resources being funneled into crap games and if these crap games start making more then the "bigger budget" ones there will be no reason for developers to put money into "AAA" games anymore because the risk will be too big when it could fail.
I actually think Ubisoft is 100x worse then Activision (and thats saying a lot)but Ubisoft doesn't have that one juggernaut game to hold over peoples heads like the CoD series - so they dont get called out for it as much.
The AC series is pretty big but still is a mere shadow to CoD...
honest investigative journalism is pretty much lost as long as the market revolves around money. These game corporations need mouth pieces to spread the hype and will see fit who gets the information and as long as those sites live on ads they'll gladly comply.
People like me and you could be the most honest non-bias journalists in the business but these corporations aren't going to leak any info to us because they dont benefit from it...because they have no idea what...
well on the 360 its called the power button
this is crazy...this game was a freebie that came along with NBA elite and now that its canceled I guess they are trying to make their money back by selling whats essentially an arcade game for 50.
after reading the previous comments i had to figure out where they were getting these prices from because it seemed nuts

all you really need is the couple of sentences from the headline. The rest is just filler.
GT5
"It only does everything"
@imouth
its a shame when people dont realize the most obvious sarcasm, because they are so vent up with hatred for differing opinions and are more likely to pound the disagree button then realize...oh it was sarcasm
its like telling a good joke, then having to spend the next 2 minutes explaining it, completely ruining the moment. But thats N4G in a nutshell.
"I have not bought a single game NEW from activision since Modern Warfare 2"
you sound real committed lol /facepalm
your exactly the type that posts you hate activision and buys all their stuff and DLC, because you cant control the media hype
another great n4g troll bait article.
The game is a 6 month old singleplayer experience, most people have played it, loved it, and moved on. Its unfortunate the trolls cant move on as well.
This is a great day, for the 5 people who care.
your opinion doesn't count by the way
