"Sony could easily just say how it has 3X the number of games, while procuring a few big names to throw up as if it's indicative of the entire library."

They've done that. Narrative is still GP>PSNow.

Unless you plan on waiting a good bit, you won't be playing many games.

It's just a typical line of credit agreement. You can take the console home and burn it for all they care.

If you don't pay on time, you'll get hit with a late fee. If you stop paying altogether, you'll be responsible for the balance. They have your SS#, so your gamertag doesn't matter to anyone.

Whichever lender is handling these deals will decide what to do from there. I'm guessing there's a nice arbitration agreement in t...

GCN vs. RDNA2 has been discussed and explained thoroughly over the last year. I'm not sure why you keep on with this misplaced argument, but you're comparing things that aren't 1:1.

Similarly, GDDR5 is not GDDR6.

Oh, my!

25th *U.S. Anniversary of PS. And 21st Anniversary of Dreamcast!

Have they no respect!!!

That's a big request though. The more successful it is selling at a loss, the more money they lose.

If they can say that the initial production line of 10 million get sold at a $100 loss, you're looking at a billion $ in the hole. You can make it up later, sure, but that intial 10 million will sell at the higher price point all the same.

So what do you do in Sony's shoes? Sell at a loss, or just try to break even? I'd say you only sell at...

Requirement No. 1: Don't buy until a few months after launch.

It's Ubisoft. You roll the dice each time with their PC ports.

True, but in 2 years, that Pro or One X will get phased out except for maybe NBA or MLB games. The XSS is still there at that time (probably at $250). Also, you're not in the PS4 ecosystem yet, I don't know why you'd look at the Pro over the PS5 (especially when it's STILL $399...smh).

But generally for 2020? I don't see too many One X or Pro owners looking at the Series S. If you're rocking the One S, or are a Switch/PS gamer, or have no console at...

The CPU + RDNA2 cores are going to put this in a different performance category than the One X or Pro. SSD, too.

I think you posted something similar in another thread. I believe you also said that you're into PC gaming too, right?

So you should understand this. If you run a card that targets 1080/1440, you're not going to need as much VRAM as you would on that 4k machine. They hint at this in the video, but your games should not install all of ...

Walmart, Bestbuy, Target...have restocking fees? Get out of here. Exactly how long ago did you work retail?

Even shitty stores like Gamestop have to take the return. We literally have laws protecting us on this.

You guys try way too hard. Guess what though...ignorant consumers will have 4 Playstations to choose from this year. What ever will they do!!!

Yep, consoles are the one sector of gaming where it's impossible to offer varying points of entry. Impossible! Doom!

Get over it. Consoles are steadily catching up to the rest of the industry.

Consoles themselves are half-steps compared to what can be achieved on PC. Yet here we are, enjoying a healthy and robust gaming industry.

Imagine that...

Where do you guys live where you can't take something back to a store and say: "I bought the wrong one and I want to exchange it"?

None of these drives will last long, but with the way they handle installs now on the One X, I'm guessing you won't need space for the 4k assets. That effectively makes the smaller drive have a similar capability as your 1tb drive on the 4k machines. But with 100gb game installs, we're screwed either way.

Similarly, gaming at 1440 or 1080 takes less VRAM (and bandwith) than if you're pushing 4k assets.

This has always been the far more i...

You're not even a week out from the Nvidia announcement that showed you why this is such a bad take.

The 2080 is out there giving people the best performance available today. Yet, the 3070 is coming alongside the 3080 and the 3090.

The 3070 boasts next gen features, affordable price, but with lower performance target than its more powerful (and expensive) counterparts.

If you want next gen features at 1440p at high frames and a low...

I laughed too. That's like saying Sony's push for Beta Max held back VHS, or its Memory Sticks held back SD cards.

In format wars, one wins and the others don't. In the mind of a fanboy, it's all some great conspiracy.
