You can NOT build a PC that can play games for $300. You can buy a Dell off the shelf for $300 (it can't play games) but you can NOT build a PC using New Parts for $300 that can play games.
$450 is the lowest you can go. And by playing Games it better be able to play Crysis on medium settings and get no lower than 25 fps. Even then this will be useless in two years.

That has become like chasing a ghost or riding a Unicorn unless your COD then 5 million sold on day 1 is guaranteed.
Bulletstorm, Homefront, Killzone 3, Crysis 2, Dead Space 2 and more to come all have sold like crap!! Some of these titles are across 3 platforms and still have not reached a million units. Huge losses when you factor in the amount of advertisement spent on these titles.

Battlefield IS THE GAME! this article is dumb. Nothing comes close to BF but maybe Arma II but that is like real world MilSim although fun but not enjoyable relaxing fun like BF.

To be honest we should of been getting these types of quality graphics years ago but DX10 along with Vista was such a pile of shit that no one wanted to mess with it. Sure we had Gems like STALKER Clear Sky, Far Cry 2 Crysis and a few others but not on this level

yeh if you got the cash and smarts to build a PC that can run Arma II or X3 Terran Conflict full tilt then your definitely not looking for Mickey Mouse entertainment.
This list shows why PC Gamers are more mature and require more strategic and Core gaming experiences not saying Uncharted or Halo aren't fun n great (they are great games) but these games require a ton of skill, strategy, and time to play.
Minecraft is one game while Counter Strike is actually a series so Minecraft although beyond excellent doesn't belong on this list.
