maybe kojima will never go to the 360, but if this game was in the works, i doubt kojima is handling the port. i'm sure they have many more people at konami that are capable of porting games. and maybe this game is only possible on ps3. . . using ps3 code. we have yet to see how the 360 will handle it. the ps2 was technically an inferior system to the xbox, but mgs2 had mega slowdown and framerate problems when substance came out on it. in any case, i do hope they port it, b/c it was one...
most sense anybodys made all day
sony already has a "casual" console at a sub-200 dollar price point. and a handheld at a sub 200 price point as well. 360 is certainly beating ps3 in sales, but it is also competing with ps2 and psp.
the future is 4 head vcr's. why buy dvd'd or blu ray, when tapes are so cheap? you can even record dvd's onto tapes with the wave of the future VCR "recorders"
square has lost its former glory. none of their recent efforts have really grabbed me. it seemsm mistwalker is doing a better job with the rpgs, as i thought blue dragon and lost odyssey were freaking awesome. i just hope that ff13 doesn't play itself like ff12.
as if sony didn't have enough coming this year to break my wallet.
i could understand if both systems cured cancer, and one cured it quicker than the other, but they play GAMES. 360 vs ps3 is the biggest non issue of all time. who cares what system joe blow plays his games on. i really dont care. it didn't matter to me if snes was better than genesis, or that xbox was better than ps2, i know that to play all the good games, you have to have all the systems. both companies make a fine product. i can understand fanboys buying whaever they think is better...
why cant anybody see the things that 2k did right? yeah, sure the textures are a little blurred, but at least it looks as good as it does, and plays well to boot. if you want the prettiest version, i got news for you, it aint the 360 version. that award goes to pc. most of these comments make me really angry. this was years of these dev's lives spent on making sure ps3 owners can enjoy this great game. YEARS. it takes all you fanboys one second to spot a bad texture, and its 100 commen...
was a day one buy for me, but now. . . i HATE when tree's leaves are too big, and i HATE in games where the characters dont have two extra bones in their lips!
/cancels preorder
excellent work an a great game. looking forward to stompin the crap out of a sequel
i have 360, and i enjoy the rpg's, but they still have yet to release ones that are as good some of the last gen rpg's
they are getting it together, but they are still working with a flawed design. the new heat sinks are laughable. i think the 360 has great software, and i think it has the edge in terms of multiplat titles, but the hardware needs work.
www.product-reviews.net/2007/ 07/03/xbox-360-launch-consoles- failure-rate-more-than-33/
only the rrod is covered, duder. if you get the dvd drive error or unplayable disc error, or if it eats your baby, then you have the same 1 year warranty as any ps3 owner. out of the 30-40 percent failure rate, rrod only makes up for 16 percent
they never should have had an issue to begin with, is the point. they do have stellar customer service, theres no denying that. they do everything and anything to make sure the xbox experience is a good one, and i think they go above and beyond the call of duty to accomodate anyone who has had problems, but they couldve avoided this whole mess, and not had to hand out 2 billion in repairs. im sure even microsoft would agree at this point
and let me tell you, the only major problem is lasers going out. a laser is 40 bucks, tops, and its so easy to replace, a monkey could do it. we get 360's too, and along with rrod, you also have a nasty disc drive error where it seems the dvd drive picks up the game and tells you to "please put this disc into an xbox 360 console". it could be a simple swap out for another disc drive, but msoft was kind enough to marry disc drive to the motherboard, so it wont owrk if you swap it....
360 AND ps3 versions pale in comparison to a decent pc running it
stoked theyre finally releasing info on this title! been looking forwrd to this for quite awhile. i think its gonna kill any of the newer silent hills.
dude, i'm not defending sony with this post, but there's a big difference between a laser going bad (ps2) and massive hardware failure (xb360) you can replace a laser in a ps2 yourself and have it run perfect, but you cant fix whats causing rrod. just saying, it makes your posts comparing the two sound kinda dumb. again, i own 360, and i like it, but im on my third. i've only ever had one ps2.
the biggest problem with live is the community. when i play online, i feel like i'm in middle school. this is b/c the 360 is the cheapest console. i'm glad the ps3 isn't as popular. the online is a much more relaxed affair with older and more mature gamers. live can keep its cross game chat ( a feature i never used but a few times ). all these people who say psn sucks, i cant understand where they are coming from. once you get in-game, the feature sets are the same.
pgr? Ace combat? test drive? have fun with that, man. . .
crackdown was fun though, back when it came out.
