I enjoyed Prototype actually, and I can see myself playing it again at some point. I played through inFamous twice so far and I can also see myself going through it again.

I put in over 100 hours playing Mercs 2 actually. I played through once by myself, and then twice with the same save file getting a friend of mine through his game.

In my opinion Chaos Theory is still the best Splinter Cell bar none. I have not played Conviction mind you, but I am willing to bet my opinion would remain unchanged.

This is just laughable. Now instead of hearing about "teh games" or "teh sales" we have to hear about "teh interweb searches"?

There is really no point in scrolling down past #2, who, in my humble opinion, should be #1.

If your issue is that researchers cannot add any new Cells to their clusters, then it is a little late to be making that argument. The "Other OS" feature was not present at all in newly manufactured PS3 systems as of September of last year.

There is also no evidence to suggest that Sony could not simply manufacture more Linux ready units for scientific or military research in the future. It is not a great leap to think that the console maker can put whatever firmware t...

I wonder why he decided not to sign into the PSN to demonstrate his custom firmware allowing access?

I also find his MAC Address and IP fields as odd. It seems to me that he could have just done a text hack and made it appear as though he had firmware 3.21.

You can count me among the "updated just fine" crowd. In fact I have never had an issue with a firmware update since purchasing my 60GB unit at launch.

There was no PC demo to my knowledge, and it is entirely plausible that Gradient did not play the demo on the Xbox 360, though it is equally plausible that he has. I just don't understand the "capable PC" argument. It is not just you, as I have seen the argument come up on many occasions. Most games on the market can be played on a "decent" PC, so I don't understand why so many people seem to believe that PC gaming requires gaming PCs.

You had no factual basis for your response in the first place. The recommended specs are not even that high, so what is the reasoning behind your statement that Gradient (or anyone else for that matter) "probably" does not have a PC that is capable of running the game?

Either one of those scenarios would be incredibly lame.

Chaos theory still stands as my favorite Splinter Cell so far. I am sure Conviction will be a great game in it's own right, but I personally would have liked another Splinter Cell modeled after Chaos Theory.

I also thought RB6V 1 and 2 were both amazing games. I did not like the new direction with Prince of Persia, and I am glad to see they are going back to the PoP roots with Forgotten Sands.

With regards to GRAW 2, I must say that while I enjoyed the game overall, I thought the team AI could have used some extra work. They were basically useless. I cannot count the times I ordered a teammate to take a shot, and they would just sit there and tell me "I don't have a shot, I nee...

That is true, he does have a muscle suit, but Old Snake is like really old, and he has to fight giant robots and crazy bionic women. We are not asking Sam to do anything like that. We just want him to be up to the task of moving a body or two.

I mean no offense to Mr. Greenberg, but "millions and millions" sounds like something a 3rd grader would say. "Millions and millions" is really just "millions" after all.

However I do agree that it will likely sell very well.

That didn't stop Old Snake.

Armored Spider was incredibly easy with a bow. Leechmonger was impossible for me to kill until I got Firestorm. I would have to say the most challenging boss for me was Old Monk, although I am not sure if that fight technically counts. I am speaking about Demon's Souls of course. Oh Flamelurker gave me a hella hard time on NG+.

That is like comparing apples to cucumbers. The "Install Other OS" feature was not a core feature in the first place, and was not even advertised. This change also affects an incredibly small amount of people. I know people are flooding the message boards about this, but I do not believe even half the people complaining ever even considered using Linux on the PS3. It was not a supported feature anyway. It was slow, it did not support Adobe Flash, and you did not have access to teh G...

The author of this article (and very likely the contributor as well) is a moron. No one is getting online with their Linux clusters, so no one who has a Linux cluster needs to do the update. The feature was already phased out of the slim models anyway, so anyone who was going to buy PS3s for that purpose did so already.
