I would not necessarily say that Edge will give it a "low" score. Probability dictates that they will give it a 7.

Don't hold your breath waiting for Microsoft to buy EA. Even if it is financially viable, there would still be potential antitrust issues.

I honestly have to agree with you there. Demon's Souls is my personal game of the year for 2009. Much respect to Uncharted 2 of course, but Demon's Souls is just so satisfying to play.

I would have to say that my personal favorite for 2009 is definitely Demon's Souls. I believe that Uncharted 2 fully deserves all of the awards it received, and I had a great time playing it, but I enjoyed Demon's Souls a bit more. I am looking forward to several more playthroughs.
Naughty Dog wanted to hit the 2.5 million mark, and they have. If the developers are happy with the sales, then it is not a flop. Developers, publishers, and stockholders are the only people who should be concerned with sales, and if they are happy, then it really is mission accomplished.

I am going to go with #8 on this one. You can get a HD monitor for the cost of 3 games. If someone is complaining about how a HD game looks on an SDTV then they should just get a HD display.

Yeah my 60GB unit does match my Bravia, but I just like the way the Slim looks more. I like the matte finish and the design just seems more sleek to me. I even prefer the white PS logo over the rainbow colored turnable logo on my PS3.
I have to disagree. My wife just picked up a PS3 Slim a couple of days ago and I prefer the way it looks to my launch unit. It is like the newer sexier version. Sure it doesn't have some features like media slots, PS2 compatibility, SA CD support, or Install Other OS, but I don't use those features anyway. I am honestly considering getting a Slim myself.

It is possible that the reviewers never encountered the freezing. It seems to be an intermittent problem, and it may indeed only be affecting a relatively small amount of people.
