That is not really the same thing at all. Under this system nothing is being taken away from used game purchasers. New game purchasers are just getting something extra.
I would hazard a guess that a person who is renting a game does not really have a vested interest in DLC for the game anyway.
Personally I think offering free DLC for new buyers is a brilliant strategy. People who buy the game new get something for free, and people who buy used games to save money still get the core game. They just get a little less content, but still have the option to obtain the content.
I can't speak for everyone but I honestly prefer Limited. I think the blacks are just a bit too black on Full. That is just my opinion of course.
What a ridiculous comparison. You can't sell your LBP2 creations, and you can't play XNA.
29 games scoring 90 or above for the Xbox 360 vs. 25 for the PS3. But when you take a closer look you see that Grand Theft Auto 4: The Lost and the Damned only has 4 reviews for the PS3, vs. 79 reviews for the Xbox 360 version. One of those reviews is 20 full points lower than the other 3.
The Orange Box is scored 90 on the Xbox 360 vs. 89 on the PS3 so that isn't much of a victory.

I agree with Bathyj. If we are going to consider the bundled PS3s as giveaways then from this point on I am going to consider every copy of Windows that is preloaded on a PC as a giveaway.
So basically they are just now getting around to releasing the retail version they should have released months ago.
I don't really agree with the author's opinion that they should have stopped with Mortal Kombat II. I personally thought that Mortal Kombat III Ultimate was the best in the series.
I also don't agree with his assertion that Tom Clancy games should have stopped with Ghost Recon. I very much enjoyed both R6 Vegas games, and I don't know if it gets any better than Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory, which was released after Ghost Recon.
