Even if Crysis had only sold 1 million, the PC would not be dead. There are more people playing games on PC every day than all of the consoles combined. Granted I am considering every game from Farmville to World of Warcraft, but a game is a game. There are many very talented developers creating great games for the PC, and on top of that there are many incredibly talented modders who work to extend the experience of the games. PC gaming is not going anywhere.

You have to be a complete loser to hack trophies. If you do not want to feel enslaved to the trophy system, then just ignore the trophies and play what you want to play. Hacking trophies to make yourself feel better is pathetic. Not only is the author dishonest, but he also apparently has no will power.

This is just Edge's way of lowering the metacritic average for the PS3 version. Notice how they do not have a review score for the Xbox 360 version, so this 5/10 only shows up on the PS3 version of the game, thereby lowering the average.
Babies do not starve to death after only 12 hours. The article mentions that they had been feeding the baby rotten powdered milk, and that the couple lived with the wife's parents. The article does not mention whether or not the child was left home alone.
It is entirely plausible that some people here have played it. It released in Japan months ago, and the PS3 is a region free system.

All they have to do is load the game up, and when the trophies reinstall just exit out of the game and re-sync.
I didn't mind that install so much. I was much too distracted with my paper folding to notice it.
HDTVs are more than affordable these days. My wife has one in her room. I have one in my man cave. My kids have one dedicated just to them. I don't see the point in playing high definition games on a standard definition set.
