The PS3 does not charge the controllers during standby. There is an accessory you can buy that will charge your controllers directly from the wall, or you can plug your controllers into a PC.

I know I come off as siding with the publishers on this one, because I do believe that they do not owe anything to people who are not their customers, but I also agree with you mastiff. I believe that if the quality standards were raised then people would be less inclined to trade their games in. Of course there will always be those people who play a game once and then trade it in, no matter how good the game is.

If they implement an online pass for Black Ops then people are going to buy it new, or they will purchase the online pass. It is inevitable. The majority of the CoD fan base buy the games for the multiplayer, and the majority of the fan base will likely just accept it.
They have every right to restrict access to their servers or downloadable content to their customers only. If you purchase it new then you are their customer. If you purchase it used then you are not their customer. If you are not their customer then why do you expect to be able to access their servers? Entitled much?

He is not actually entirely correct though Murder. The Move also has camera functionality. The actual controller (and sub controller) may be pretty much the same, but with the PS Eye in the mix it is hardly a "rebranded Wiimote".
