I have the Large Sword of Searching. It doubles the drop rate, but it does not affect what drops. I do carry it with me when I am farming though. I am taking a short break until the PWT event is finished, then I will go back in and farm in Pure Black.
I am on my 3rd run in Demon's Souls at the moment. I have not found the trophies to really be difficult, just time consuming. I have all of the weapon trophies except Cloudstone, Darkmoonstone, Marrowstone, and Bladestone. I have the Soldier and Rogue trophies, and of course the boss trophies. None of them have been really hard to get. What concerns me the most is finding a Pure Bladestone and a Pure Darkmoonstone. Those things are super rare.
Yeah I have taken notice of that. Now mind you that my personal experiences do not in any way reflect the experiences of others, but I have never had a single issue with any firmware update, and since I own a launch 60GB, I have downloaded them all.
This is like the 4th firmware update since December. It is now the end of July. Four updates in nearly 8 months. That comes out to about one update every two months for those of you who are too lazy to do math. Since when does one update every two months equal "every week or so"?

No one has had enough success with cracking the OS, and there is not enough of a market to make the effort. Also, there is no antivirus on the browser. I will say this though, having looked at the content in the first couple weeks myself, I don't see how he could have arrived at that figure in the first place. Even if you didn't own a single thing that was offered in the first two weeks, I don't think you could have $200 in savings.

Wow dude, what an ignorant response. I will be 30 in 2 months, and I have been saving since I was 15. I didn't blow my money on useless things back then. When I got my signup bonus for joining the Navy I saved it, instead of blowing it on strippers like everyone else.

I did the math. I don't play with anyone else locally, and I already have a PS Eye, so that makes 2 wands and 1 navigation controller (optional) that I will be buying. That math comes out to $130 that I am shelling out this fall for motion control.
