I have said it before and I will say it again. The day they implement a subscription fee for the online portion is the day I no longer buy CoD games. This is not about any anti-Activision movement or CoD boycott. It is about me not paying subscription fees for online gaming. There are plenty of other games to play.

I have never played a Gran Turismo game before, but I am planning on getting GT5. I am trying to make my game collection a bit more diverse.

What kind of title is that? 10 reasons why it could succeed or fall short? Might as well write an article about why the Sun may or may not rise tomorrow.

A good tactician is going to use every tool at his disposal. It is easy to say "well just don't use it", but to intentionally not use an available tool would be a complete contrast to certain personality types. I know it would certainly be so in my case.

That right there is proof that if people can't find something to be offended about they will just make something up that they find offensive.

I think there are people in the world who just need to be offended about something. Like, actually need it.

Technically it was a nuke he launched, but he detonated it in orbit to create an EMP.

I have always had trouble with people calling Drake a mass murderer. He is more a survivor than a murderer. We are talking about armed pirates, who have already tried to kill Drake once. You remember the first chapter of the game don't you? You know, the whole "pirates attacking the ship" scenario?

He kills pirates who are trying to kill him.
He kills mercenaries who are trying to kill him.
He kills terrorists who are trying to kill him.

Double post.

That is a lucid, intelligent, and well thought out comment. Bubbles for you and the first person who figures out the reference I am making with this response. No googling.

You should not blindly believe either. The spotty PSFanboy does not have any useful insight, and Peter Molyneux is paid to say that anyway. These days though I find it hard to believe anything he says.

I found it to be extremely useful. I can understand his point though. It made the stealth sections ridiculously easy for anyone who is tactically inclined.

I realize the author is just being funny when he refers to the pirates as "poor bastards", so I will not go into the fact that the pirates pretty much had it coming (they did blow up his ship after all). The author should replay the museum level in Uncharted 2 though. Drake never actually killed any of the security guards.

Sure he has killed countless pirates, mercenaries, and terrorists, but you will have to excuse me if I don't shed a tear for them.

The "Morrigan not being human" thing is not really a problem for me.

It is actually not funny even if you were joking.

Death by succubus is the way I would prefer to go. Screw dying in my sleep.

I see you have trouble being consistent in your comment. It is not hard really. You just pick one train of thought and stay on track. You started off by saying we are all (100%) hypocrites, then followed up by stating that 90% of us slammed the Wii. Which is it? 100% or 90% (which you just pulled out of your arse anyway)?

If I were you I would be more concerned about the difficulty you have focusing on a single thought, and less concerned about the opinions of random interne...

I am pretty sure you could fit a "super" in there somewhere.

I think the real question is "Why can't gamers get multiplayer gaming right?". Most of the problems with online gaming are caused by the players themselves. The glitches may be present in a game (and developers should certainly stay vigilant about glithces), but it is the players who exploit them. It is the players who antagonize others on the mic. It is the players who are so concerned with their kill/death ratio that they actively avoid teamwork. It is the players who think it...

That is the point though isn't it Rocket? No one is interested in a totally offline CoD, so people would be more inclined to purchase a new copy so they get an online pass, or they would be inclined to purchase the $10 online pass for used games.

Edit: What makes video games different than movies is the technology that allows the companies to impose such restrictions. No one can do anything about movies or books. Whether or not it is right is irrelevant. It is the realit...

That argument is a double-edged sword. If it is no longer their product then they no longer have an obligation to support it, including allowing online access for it. You are basically reinforcing the Online Pass policy that EA has adopted.
