I am loving this demo at the moment! Like many people I ditched Pro Evo a good few years back after the golden era of the on the PS2. FIFA 12s new tactical defending was a disaster in my opinion and I haven't played it in ages (after playing FIFA 11 to death). PES 13 is looking good and I will be buying it over FIFA again for the first time in years.
I have even used that code and didn't know that it was referred to as the Konami Code.
Especially SOCOM, lets hope for SOCOM 2 HD!
And San Andreas!
Yeah, that needs to happen.
It depends on how you define 'gamers'. For me personally, yes it has been a failure. A bunch of garbage titles and a few additions to core games isn't enough considering the hype that surrounded it and the marketing Microsoft continue to put into it. In the last two years it has been Microsoft in general who has failed 'gamers'.
I know people preach the list of games being pretty big for a launch lineup but thats not the point here. We need some AAA games, thats what I expect out of my Vita. Also, it's not a good sign when PSV owners are crying out for PS1 support (myself included). There simply enough games for it yet.
Agreed. The destruction is the one thing BC2 has as a clear advantage over BF3. I dont know what DICE where thinking when they toned it down in BF3.
It is and it isn't. The vehicle gameplay in BF3 is second to none. I thought BC2 had better maps and made for better games of Rush. BF3s maps were designed with Conquest more in mind. Being a big BC2 player I don't know why people complain about BF3 so much. Its the best multiplayer fps out there in my opinion and if EA sell out and go the COD road then I will move on to something else. The same way I moved on after MW2 and Gears 1. If you dont like a devs game then dont buy it...
So you managed to crawl over from IGN lol! But yes I agree, the potential Sony now has for the PS4 with Gaikai is really great. Microsoft have shown that they have leaned away from the core, so Sony are now the flying the flag for the core market and I expect it to continue into the next gen. Also, I hope that they integrate Gaikai with the Vita given its lack (and price!) of memory. I know its way off but I reckon at E3 next year Sony will have something for the core that will make our j...
Yeah, wtf is that about. Why remove the iconic herbs? I was really excited to play this demo but now I couldn't care less. I had hope for this game too which makes it even more disappointing to hear all these negative stories about the demo. I really, really don't get why Capcom don't listen to its fans.
I wouldn't mind seeing San Andreas on the list of upcoming titles.
Give it to me, just give it to me!!
Has anyone actually used this service before and give a bit of feedback on the quality? I never heard of it until Sony purchased it. If it's anything like OnLive I won't be too optimistic; I played a couple of demos on OnLive and although it wasn't laggy the graphical hit the games take for a lag free connection isn't good.
I am very interested in playing this demo.
Yeah I'm gonna try out the demos when I get homw from work. I tried OnLive and was underwhelmed to say the least.
For starters they wouldn't have had the cash to pump into marketing it in the first place. If it wasn't for that half a billion push by Microsoft I would say Kinect would be in a similar position to the Move sales wise. So on that assumption is safe to say that they don't "reject success and money" but that they steer clear of very risky product ideas when they don't have the financial clout to back it up in the first place. Keep in mind that PlayStation had the E...
The problem with Kinect is that it's extremely limited. You can't move around a 3D world in any feasible way with a device like Kinect. Because of that it's best games will more than likely be stuck on rails or be something along the lines of dancing games which work great; that's not enough though. In this day and age that's never gonna please a core gamer. Other than that it can provide 'traditional' controller based games with a few additions such as voice c...
True that. It looks like the margin for new IPs is getting smaller and smaller. I like Sony because they give devs like Cage a great chance.
I can't imagine FIFA 13 will be much different to FIFA 12, their new approach to gameplay isn't going to change.
