I didnt like the demo for this at all, don't know how it scored so high.
They are highly likely to be intelligent in their field though and in a better position to make a decision. If I was to put my money on a person with a degree in a given subject vs the person without a degree in that subject, I know where my money would be placed.
AvP2 was amazing. One of my favourite shooters ever. It was pretty much AvP Half Life style!
Completely agree. Myself and a friend were gears maniacs. Got home from the midnight launch and were like kids at Christmas who were given the wrong disc in the case by santa. We were devastated ha! It was a completely different game and the perfect example of a developer alienating its core fan base. That was pretty much my last hurrah with the 360. The only thing it had for me over the ps3 was gears, and epic ruined it. I traded my xbox around 3 months after.

Yeah, I have never seen so many rumours on this website. Nearly every article for the past month or so has qualified as a rumour. How they get accepted as well is beyond me. The content of these articles could basically be brought up by anyone, all they seem to be is the 'what if' thoughts of the authors. If I want to read about other peoples thoughts and opinions I would go to somewhere like Reddit. Where is the real journalism gone?
I see no reason for BC if the games can be gotten digitally. If you want to play PS3 games then keep your PS3, it's as simple as that. More than likely the vast majority of PS3 games will look redundant in comparison to the best PS4 games and you wont go back to them anyway with what will be available on PS4.
Completely agree. It got repetitive very quickly, even though I was in awe of it the first few hours I played it.
Really hope this is the PS4! I'm curious about EAs upcoming announcement for BF4 aswell, I hope it's a launch title or near abouts for the next PlayStation.
I don't think it matters as much as this gen. This gen Sony and MS were aiming for the exact same audience starting out. MS has clearly taken aim at a new demographic. Hell the PS3 has even surpassed 360 sales worldwide even when both companies were aiming for the same audience and the PS3 came out a year 'late'. Of course it would be nice to see the PS4 sooner than the nextBox because as a gamer Sony does more for my needs, but it's not a mistake if it doesn't release...
The internet in my opinion has put the amateurs on the same playing field as the experts in all areas, from politics to science to journalism, the list is endless. Check any forums, comment sections, etc. and you will find "internet intellectuals" whose OPINIONs are put across as fact in any given subject. It's sophism at it's best and their so called facts contain no actual value in reality.

Despite the fact that I hate people using people as a reliable source or reference for anything, that wiki page states that the PS3 is on 70.2m while the 360 is on 70m. There have been reports elsewhere that the PS3 has been ahead worldwide for a while now.
AvP 2 on PC was awesome. It was pretty much AvP Half Life style. If it's anything as good as that I will be very happy.
I can't wait for an announcement about the PS4 purposely because of the amount of rumors and articles that have been doing the rounds, especially in the last three weeks. I know Sony won't disappoint me on the hardware side so I just want to hear about the next-gen PSN, PS+, Gaikai, etc. I want to see the services side of the next PS4. I really hope they keep PSN free though.
Completely disagree about the Vitas dpad design over the PS3s, the PS3s is great. The triggers do need improving though. I glued the gioteck clip on triggers to my controllers, have had them years ha!
I agree. MS makes very little money from the Xbox. At the end of the day it's main business is the OS business and Office applications. This was reported long ago, that it wasn't viable for them to stay in the console business. No wonder they have gone the casual route seeing what the Wii has rolled in.

Do Crytek ever shut up? For me, Crysis is nothing but an average fps with a nice lick of paint. Cryteks power as a developer rests solely with the existence of high end graphics cards, not their ability to craft an engrossing gaming experience. I really wish they would shut up going on about consoles.
