Backwards compatibility is really important and I agree with most of your points. I really don't understand your need for FB, Twitter integration though. Thats not what I need my game console to do. "Things like sports tickers being available in-game would be hot." Some sports games such as FIFA already have similar features. Apps to support that kind of thing would be better instead of a built-in solution.
They should make an open source PS/PSN developer...
How did you get three downvotes for asking for recommendations? Anyways, Resident Evil 1, 2 & 3 will be the first PSOne classics I will be loading up. Played through them all back to back on the PS3 recently and they are still as good as they were back then. Also, download RE Code Veronica X from the PSN if you plan on playing them all back to back :) Can't wait to blast through them all again on my Vita! MGS, as always, FFVII too.
Sony just needs to market the Vita correctly. If Microsoft's Kinect marketing strategy is anything to go by its that if you market something enough then people will buy bricks. And the Vita is a better brick than Kinect. By a long shot in fact.
I will be buying this game as I have bought and enjoyed every God of War game bar the mobile game; but for once I am not excited about an entry in this series. For me GOW is about the single player experience and the set pieces. GOW 3 had that EPIC opening sequence, which to this day still makes my jaw hit the floor. Ascension hasn't shown me anything like that.
Thats really sad. I thought Pop Cap were doing ok, their games tend to sell well. Hasn't Bejeweled sold millions of copies? Plants vs Zombies must have sold a boat load too.
It won't take long. Computing power rises so quickly and gets cheaper all the time too.
The world needs dedicated gaming handhelds? I fully agree!
I think Vitas take off will happen this christmas. If it doesn't happen for it this christmas with the lineup that is on the way to it, I will have my doubts about its ability to succeed in the long run.
Agreed. I think if Until Dawn turns out to be a bad game it won't have anything to do with the Move. The game will just be a bad game regardless of the inout device. The Move is solid at what it does. Kinect is iffy in that department, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.
Its not a perfect screen. Ever play it in a bright room? You can see your reflection in it the whole time. It has a really nice looking image but its not perfect.
Its a pity that all Crytek really cares about every release is "can it run it". Crysis looks great but its an average FPS.
Time to copy over all my PS1 Resi games that are on my PS3 :) really looking forward to this update!
Depends on how big the maps are. In my opinion multiplayer with less players are more competitive, Gears of War was a good example of that.
Its from the same devs as Resistance on Vita as well. Makes you wonder why the graphics aren't up to scratch.
Shitballs, my god damn room mate called me out just as the news for this just got going, any video for this?
I was hoping for a new IP from GG. This will do! Finally, my Vita is not going to catch a break this christmas.
I'm actually well impressed with the PES 13 demo, it feels like old school Pro Evo from the PS2 days. The tactical defending addition took the fun out of FIFA for me. It catered for people who couldn't attack.
This is very subjective. You get out of storytelling exactly what you put into it, no matter what the medium.
A lot of downvotes expected here but I thought the combat system in Arkham City was too button bashy. I didn't find it too bad in Arkham Asylum strangely enough. The fact that you have to beat a grunt up for so long before they drop really annoyed me as well, your Batman for crying out loud! I would like to see something else from them. They reignited Batman, they should turn there attention to something as risky.
Anyone know if this game brings back the bowling? That was one of the best game modes ever!
