For a FREE service compared to a paid service, Sony's online offering is better. Add Plus and it wipes the floor with it. It's nice too that you don't get bombarded with ads.
I like the new store. Was slow at first but the layout is much better than the old store. I can find things really quickly. I remember typing "Resident Evil 2" into the old search and a bunch (as in hundreds) of useless shit came up. The new search brought me straight to it.
I agree. First week of playing this game I thought it was goty material, vaas was an awesome character. I got tired of it though. The open world nature of the game contradicted the narrative. Jason is so supposed to start off as an innocent guy who slowly turns into a killer. Funny thing is, right after the first mission I can go on a complete massacre across the island and then have to listen to the dialogue about how he's not up for killing. I agree but what really pisses me off about these politicians is that they never seem to remember that humans were violent and psychotic way, way back before video games and violent media even existed. Violence is not a product of violent media, it's the other way around. Violent media is a product of us.

Interesting. I love God of War as well and nothing I have seen yet from the multiplayer entices me. Much like the recently announced Tomb Raider multiplayer, any multiplayer in a game that doesn't feature the main character(s) is strange to me. Even if it is decent, that tacked on vibe won't go away. I'm really hoping the single player is awesome but I don't know how it will top the third in scale. My jaw still hits the floor every time I play the opening sequence of God ...

It is because developers only outlet to make money is through retail sales. You can't compare the auto industry to the games industry either. The shelf life of a car is far better and if the auto industry were to sell "brand new" older models of cars they would sell in place of the trade ins.
Besides, used games are only around €5 cheaper, they are a complete rip off. I always buy my games new to make sure the devs get their hard earned rewards.
A launch price no more than €450, keep PSN free, keep PS+ going, keep the Dualshock, some next gen worthy launch titles. Basically an upgraded PS3. Don't fix what isn't broken.
The last stores search function was rubbish, if you searched for something all this random crap would come up. New search function is great. I haven't had a problem with the new store except for the week it was released. Whiners.
Can't understand peoples gripe with the new PS Store. It is a bit slow to load up but once it's running I never have problems with it. The search function has also been vastly improved since the last version of the store.
I'm glad it doesn't clash with Last of Us. I should be finishing up with GTA around May and will roll right into Last of Us, it will make a nice change of pace! Two awesome games with completely different gameplay one after the other.

I bought this game around two weeks after it released because the price dropped a good amount but I haven't played it yet which is bizarre considering it's a Resi game. So many more games have come out around it that doesn't make me want to play through it yet. Never felt that way about a Resi game before.
I really hope it's a good game! I'm nearly finished playing through TR2 at the moment and will play TR3 for the first time after it. Only thing I have heard about this game that p!ssed me off was that Lara can't swim... wtf?? The underwater levels in TR2 are easily some of the best and I remember playing one of the first levels in TR:Underworld where you dive off a boat into the ocean, that level played and looked brilliant.
