Lol at the disagrees you got! What you said is true. I'd love to see someone argue for the X1 over PS4 in regard to your points.
Bubbles for laughs!
Never thought it looked great to begin with. I'm betting on 6's and 7's for this game.
Exactly. That whole part of the year up to E3 ruined X1 in my eyes. No way I'm giving MS my money after all that crap.
Then they proceed to reverse pretty much every initial decision made regarding X1 and roll out tons of PR spiel about the cloud, etc. to try boost their rep. Not working for me.
I also haven't forgotten when they shoved Kinect down our throats when the 360 was actually doing awesome and had the momentum in the core game market.
And there are f*ck all die hard Tomb Raider fans. Don't get me wrong, I really enjoyed the first game on PS3, but I'd never buy a console for it. Also the argument that gamers would choose either UC or TR is bull. I know lots of people on PS3 who bought both because they were both worth it. People buy games if they are good, it doesn't matter if there is another good game in the genre.
C'mon now, we all enjoy that wonderful sound and explosion when you blow somethings head off in this game!
"For starters, the gunplay feels heavy and is frustrating to adapt to. I was never that fond of how weapons felt in Naughty Dog's earlier work with the Uncharted series, yet here in The Last of Us, I find it even less tolerable." - I stopped reading there. I thought UC3 did indeed have woeful gun controls, even after the patch. However, I thought TLOU nailed it. Can't understand how the writer had a problem with the controls. I thought the gameplay was spot on.
MS had the shock value of the Tomb Raider announcement, but overall I thought Sony had more to show. So Sony for me.
I hope MS do stay around even though I don't like their business strategy in the last few years. And it's good that Sony are on top again. If that didn't happen MS wouldn't be trying to clean up it's image. Same thing happened when MS went out in front last gen when Sony got arrogant. It forced Sony to clean up their image as well. As long as the scale always tips between MS and Sony console gamers will always have a great console to buy, either one depending on how e...
LOL! Sony fans my ass, the PC crowd are in uproar as well.
And the latest reason... Rise Of The Tomb Raider in 900p!
No they don't. There is a reason you have one bubble!
And it's mobile, TV show and imaging departments. They are doing better than MS in the gaming department too!
What an idiot you are. Everyone lost their sh!t over Tom Raider as the first entry in the reboot was multiplat. Comparing that to new IPs is way off the mark.
That would be to focus on first party studios and games. MS thinks it is wiser to invest in short term third party exclusives. Their lack of interest in developing their own studios tells me they aren't going to be in the console market in the long run.
So it's not limited to 900p?
"I would argue that it is more important for Xbox to avoid doing things like that to improve sales of the XB1" - you summed it up right there. MS have done nothing but piss off gamers since X1 was announced and they continue to do so. They keep clinging onto the bad business model of buying third party exclusives to remain in the game. It won't last. Their lack of proper dedication to the gaming market is shown by their lack of interest in developing their own studios and no...
Exactly.
I sold my PS4 and forgot to play Outlast :(
