Are they including games I can play on my PC too in this comparison? It would only seem right if they did that. Surely an exclusive game means that I must have an X1 to play it.
On a side note, my only problem with MS's exclusives is that most of them are franchises that have been here since the first Xbox. I really want NEW exclusives. I have franchise fatigue personally. MS take way less risk than Sony in that regard.
Buying an X1 just for this. Can't wait.
Great to hear that it's single player only. I haven't liked a GG game since KZ2, so I'm really hoping this game has a lot of hours, and most importantly, a great story. KZ's story was pretty weak and uninteresting. I have heard that the writer of Fallout New Vegas is behind this games story though, if that is anything to go by. I haven't played New Vegas so can't comment on that unfortunately.
I thought it was great, really looking forward to it. Ueda's games are magical.
"I do know that backwards compatibility isn't a big deal for everyone though." - correct, by a long shot. There are a few select titles that I would ever play again from a previous console, but the chances of me playing them are slim when there is so much new, current gen stuff out there. The last thing I want to do on my current gen system is have a bigger urge to play last gen games, rather than current gen games. BC is nice, but it's not as great as people make it out ...
And Xbox fans say they don't care about COD anymore ha!
Thought the Last Guardian looked really special, I dunno what it is about those games from Ueda. They just have some magic about them.
Horizon looks really interesting, but I haven't really enjoyed a GG console game since KZ2. I'm really hoping it's great. Could do with a new, solid IP that impresses enough to warrant a sequel or two.
Uncharted looked great, but I have come to expect great things from ND anyways.
Not a FF fan b...
I'm not expecting anything much from anyone this year to be honest. Fallout 4 has been announced which is arguably the biggest announcement, already. MS will probably announce another Halo, Gears, Forza, etc. as usual and will show off Tomb Raider, which we already know about. Sony will show some VR, Uncharted, and some other bits and pieces. Nintendo won't announce much. I'm really hoping we get to see Guerilla's new IP, although KZ:SF was a mega disappointment for me.
They have. It's just that EA tried to get the license this year, and failed.
I played through them recently, on my PS3. Would prefer to see new PS4 games on my PS4, not "new" PS3 games.
I'm a PS fan and completely agree with this. Rehashes piss me off.
Yay, more remakes!
It will fail as a product offering. Technically it will be great of course, but people don't care about that. It's about price, ease of use, software lineup, etc.
Thank the stars for that. It's great having a company in a console battle out in front whose high level execs (like Yoshida) are proper gamers. Means they won't deviate from what we want too much e.g. no god damn motion control at the core of the system.
I play games on normal first to enjoy the story without the potential frustration of hard modes blocking me for a while.
Just wait until DICE's Star Wars game. Then the shit will really hit the fan in regard to this crap. EA are gonna take millions of Star Wars fans for a ride.
On PS4 it was a complete mess on release.
It's an awful service. Need top quality streaming before I will use it.
PS4.
Let's be honest here, MS SHAFTED it's fans ever since Kinect was announced, and now, by looking at how Sony are going about their game, they are back on track. Which is of course a good thing. MS are getting the credit they deserve, hell, I'm buying an X1. I sold my 360 in a rage when Gears 2 was abysmal compared to the first and shortly after that they went the casual route. I'd had enough. Now that they are back, I'm back on their system because they are giving us t...
