I hope you are not referring to the expected 25 billion Yen net loss for the year which equals to roughly $240 million. If that is only 1% then it means that Nintendo has 240x100= $24,000 million or $24 billion in cash reserves. Can you please provide the link from where you pulled that bullshit out of?

I do not think missing targets by a huge margin counts as "selling well". It is selling good (only $129 and $200 with $40 games so what do you expect?)but it is not selling as expected.
