You are talking about that downgraded Forza with baked lighting, jaggies, no day/nigh cycle, no weather and cardboard crowd? No wonder it runs at 1080p 60fps. You can run anything at 1080p and 60fps as long as you downgrade it enough. The developers just opted for higher visual fidelity instead of higher framrate for Driveclub.

The problem with Konami is that they do not make many games now. I remember a time when Konami used to make Metal Gear, Contra, Castlvania Suikoden and Zone of the Enders. Now they only release Castlvania every couple of years with one or two Metal Gear games every gen. They have not created a new IP in decades as far as I know. I dont know why all Japanese developers have abandoned their old franchises and are so afraid of being Japanese and taking risks. Where is Zone of the Enders, Breath ...

Dont ask for turnbased. You will get tons of disagrees or worse, bubble downs. I commented in the FF15 article that I would have preferred it in the classical style instead of action and I got 38 disagrees without a single agree. People these days hate turnbased RPGs with a passion. They are outdated! They are monotonous! Blah blah blah! Stupid kids!

@a_adji and millzy102

Do you guys even know what you are talking about?? Especially that Millzy102 guy who is acting so smart with clearly no idea what operating profit and net profit are and how accounting works.
Operating profit is the most important figure because it indicates profit from the business's core activities. That is why Nintendo is stating it instead of the net profit The net profit is calculated by subtracting taxes/deductibles/interest paid and ad...

Why do you want Nintendo home consoles to always be a Mario/Zelda player? What is wrong with making a powerful console, attracting third party developers and broadening the consoles appeal? It will only help increase its sales and market share.

Multinational corporations rarely go down under. Even the worst performing companies continue to exist for decades. For example, Kodak and Konica still exist despite the demise of photographic films and shift to digital imaging. Why do people even have to consider that Playstation will have to exist without Sony. It is their most successful division; it is their bread and butter right now. Even if Sony fails to revive their other divisions, they can just transform into a videogame company and...

Desperate one bubble troll doing a Kamikaze attack in support of his beloved Titanfall before he crashes and burns (gets banned once and for all). Also forgets to consider that the game is available on THREE platforms with an 80 million console installed base on Xbox 360. Or may be he did consider it and that is why compared it to games available on nothing less than FOUR or FIVE platforms. lol.

Man, people are so desperate for a positive Xbone news! They spin everything in to a positive Xbone development. It is just a job posting for a Senior Software Development engineer! It says nowhere that they are improving and optimizing the Xbone CPU. Gamingbolt just put their own interpretation and spin on the job vacancy to get some hits.

@chaos-lockheart

:-) I see it is very hard for someone living in the first world to comprehend third world problems. No offence, I was just amused.
It does not works that way. The shopkeepers do not take responsibility for a faulty product and they let you know prior to sale that there is no warranty. None of the Big 3 launch their consoles in my country so everything is unofficial. The PS4 was being sold over here for equivalent of $900 at launch and even now it is b...

Looks like the people calling PS4 "Indiestation" or claiming that "PS4 has no AAA exclusives" despite the console being release just 6 months ago, will soon be eating crow. We just learned about From Software's exclusive game yesterday and now we are hearing about GG's new IP. Now I only want Sony to announce some JRPGs for PS4! Still waiting for Legend of Dragoon 2!

Feel sorry for you bud. That is why I dont buy consoles within the first year of launch. I suffered enough for a lifetime with my launch PS2. There is no official support, warranties or insurance in my third world country so it is even more of a risk buying expensive electronics.
Just imagine you spend your three month's salary on buying a new console and a couple of games (per capita income is very low over here), only for your console to die within the first year. There is no wa...

What else can you expect from MS. They always have to copy the competitors and release "me too" products.

Ipod is breaking records!? Let us make the Zune!

Google search engine is making billions!? Let us release Bing!

Videogames are on the rise and Playstation, Nintendo and Sega are ruling the market!? Let us release Xbox!

Yahoo mail is making money!? Let us buy Hotmail from an Indian!

The list goes...

@Vegamyster

My argument is quite valid because you avoided talking about sales which are the biggest indicator of appeal. Furthermore, we are talking within the console scenario and about console customers so don't bring PC in to the discussion.
Personal preference and mass appeal are two different things. Personal preference is limited to individual. Mass appeal extend to whole groups and populations. Just answer the question honestly. Does Nintendo home console ...

It may have games BUT the kind of games it has is the issue. What if a person does not likes Mario, Zelda, Pikmin or Wonderful 101? What if he wants to play some next-gen AAA multiplats? Nobody is willing to spend $350 to play a handful of Nintendo exclusives, which are considered kiddy by the way, except a small minority including you. This is clearly evident from the poor Wii U sales. People want the most bang for their buck and an all-encompassing console. They are willing to buy the PS4 *...

This is getting out of hand. You can make a AAA game with a $20 million budget. What do they need $43 million for? Why arent they closing the kickstarter campaign if the target has been reached? Furthermore, is this game ever going to get released? I hope all the contributors get their money's worth but it looks like this will not turn out well when and if the game gets released.
