Excellent post sir. Bubbles for j0000000000~
I just find it suspicious that there was no word of supply constraints until after the NPC numbers hit. Considering the lack of sales in Japan they should have been able to borrow from that dust collecting shipment to cover for it. (just poking fun, but...you know...some truth in humor)
His disposition is no more maligned towards MSFT than yours is to SCEI.
Question: How far does a fork have to be stuck in till this is considered "done"?
Good going for Sony. Looks like 08 is starting out pretty dark strong. With the release of DMC4 on PS3 and Xbox 360 I don't know if February will show the same detail, but perhaps Sony can keep it going for another month and hopefully fight the good fight for the whole year. As a PS3 owner I'm kinda hoping they keep the ball rolling.
As for 360 shortages I did a 200 mile radius store search for JUST Gamestop for Atlanta, Birmingham, New York, and Los Angeles using the zip code fi...
I'm just going to go ahead and say that the only hampering of sales that is going on is the fact that a losing format (HD-DVD in this case) refuses to concede the market to the winning format (BR) and quit confusing customers as to which one they should buy.
While I wont say that DMC4 is the "Best DMC EVAR!" I will say that Nero got my thumbs up for approval around Mission 11.
The buster combo you use against Sanctus (you know the one where you pummel him and then do that wicked awesome uppercut and the screen freezes and Sanctus' face is all "SAY WHAAA?~" yeah, that one) well Nero says a few things against Sanctus that was just completely awesome
"Pray for help from your Savior....you'll need it...
So....it's the best DMC game ever because it was easy enough this time around for the reviewer to "feel like a badass"?
And whats this talk of casual gamers and Devil May Cry in the same sentence? Since when has this game ever been geared towards anything else BUT the hardcore?
If they want a casual, easy DMC game they should go back and pick up DMC2. You can literally beat the game just by using your guns.
I would just like to point out that you only have those "fair-use rights" if you pay for what your using.
I'm still trying to figure out why companies taking digital measures to protect their clients intellectual and created properties is a bad thing.
It's like the cable company I use....they gave me for 6 months channels that I did not pay for yet when they took them away what was i going to do? complain? I'd be lucky that they didn't prorate and chargeback all those months I went with extra cable.
Sure, it was their fault but they also had the right to cut my extra fea...
Ummm...PanzerFaust?
Armageddon, Bad Boys, Bad Boys 2, Pearl Harbor, The Island, The Rock, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and Transformers would like to have a word with you.
If your going to call a Director/Producer an "EPIC failure" try to pick one that who's movies haven't made millions of dollars and weren't box office hits. You look smarter if you follow my advice.
The Crackdown rumor actually has some basis behind it because the industry has been rumbling about a sequel ever since the first one made it really big.
However, the Kingdom Hearts 3 for Wii thing has always been wishful thinking. Ever since Soriku on VGchartz started demanding it like 8 months ago its like the darn idea spread across the freakin' net. Square has never said that they were going to put KH3 on the Wii and pretty much the only basis that anyone has every thought tha...
So, just like Bioshock, all I had to do was wait just a little bit longer. Hopefully Bioware won't go by the way of Halo 2 and force me to use Vista to try and run this.
Either way it looks like I get to enjoy the adventures of Unisex Shepard!
Why did they claim that the Xbox 360 has better online functionality than the PS3 version? As far as the in-game menu's for online goes they are exactly the same and Criterion made them that way.
Also, people can't say that the Xbox version is better because it has friends list and everything because you CAN access the XMB in-game just by going to the Paradise city online menu and pressing the Triangle button. Your friends list comes up and you can sent messages, invites, chats, ...
I hate to point this out but the problem isn't with your PS3 it is with the game choice you might be choosing. Aside from HS and Uncharted I could see why people might be turned off from some of the others, but the library for the PS3 is much larger than before so why not trying to expand out of those five single games.
I probably own about 15 games by now (at least 6 of them are PSN titles) and even though I might get bored with Motorstorm or something I still have enough varian...
I don't want to seem like I'm stealing your thunder there Bladestar but I am just going to go ahead and call that article you used bogus. Not because it doesn't provide interesting information but because it's designed to be a hit piece.
The fact of the matter is that the only difference really between the two platforms is the programming architecture and EA is taking the easy way out and going with what they are more familiar with.
As for the Crysis thing....it's al...
For me to write this game off already as a product that EA will assuredly screw up in the end?
I -want- to believe that they wont absolutely suck at developing Dead Space but with the attitude presented in the article I just cant see myself having much faith in this dev team.
Also, just for the record: "If the PS3 version is gimped it isnt because the PS3 version "can't do it" it's because the dev team cant program it"
Considering that Microsoft is actually having to -borrow- money for the first time in its history to try and make a bid on Yahoo I seriously doubt that Microsoft would have the cash to even come close to what Sony is worth.
Despite the fact that it is nigh impossible to even try and dream that notion this article is probably the funniest thing I've read all day long.
At the rate that Microsoft is bleeding money (maybe not with the 360 , but their PC divisions are hur...
I wasn't too terribly impressed with the PSN demo. I mean....it's not as crappy as SOME games *cough*Soldieroffortune:paybac k*cough* but it does kinda head off in to the "meh" territory pretty solidly.
Video dramatization of the format war.
Yeah, I'm thinking that Nero has that blue jacket for a reason. Sure, he takes a few quick hits but the complete ass pummeling that HD-DV...uhh...Sanctus receives is a pretty good analogy.
Either way, the video is awesome.
