You are wrong. Nintendo consoles have has 5.1 surround since the N64. I agree online is a very crucial part which Nintendo is missing, I agree that a hard drive may be necessary in the future but I don't agree on dvd playback. We all have dvd players, don't we? And they take so much less electricity than X360/PS3.

But what I find rather annoying is that Nintendo once again dodge two vital questions (and they dodge the question about why the delay on SSBB):
- Will there b...

Would I rather play a beautifully FFXIII on PS3 than Metroid Prime 3 on Revolution? No. Why? Because to me, they're both fun and that's all that matters. I couldn't care less if it's very beautiful graphically, because as they say, once you experience it, you get over it. Both the systems have new innovations, new controller and better graphics.
And btw, try to do FPS-like controls such as MP3 on the PS3. Can't be done. If you ask me, the motion sensing on the PS3 is a fad and shouldn'...

Not as long as there is new content to come. I enjoyed MP3 simply because it was a good game. I couldn't care less about the visuals because it was fun to play and that's all that matters. The contents drive a console, not something else. If Nintendo comes out with more innovative titles, it will live on, just as the DS.

Nintendo is at it again >_<

How about you have a big PS2 games collection and then you get a new shining, expensive PS3. You want to put away that ugly and annoying PS2. But you can't--because the PS3 isn't backwards compatible.
Or how about this? You buy a shining new PS2 game (they're still out there, lots of them and are still being produced and made!), but you don't want to put it in that ugly and annoying PS2, yet PS3 isn't backwards compatible... Maybe you just don't want a 100 consoles in the room. Maybe y...

Crap.
Crap, crap, crap.
I don't want those games, I want the console and I want a lower price! Get it into your head, Microsoft! Stop bundleding games and crap and start releasing hardware at a lower price!

And so they want to ban this wonderful thing? Bastards >_<

So they cut a feature that costs nothing to add and then they remove backwards compability? And to boot, they replace 60 GB with 40 GB?
Okay, that's all just stupid. HD space is required, backwards compability is required.
Why not just cut out uneccesary thing instead of removing what's important?

thewhoopimen: Source please! I have not heard anything about such high yields.
popup: Compressed audio sounds just fine. Even HE-AAC + PS @ 32 kbps sounds just fine.

I just have to agree with all comments... The article is flawed. So what if it's least technological, so what if it has a wiimote? I like Metroid Prime 3 and that's all that matters to me--that the games I play are fun.
Nintendo should have no trouble selling their machine at christmas.

Don't know what they're doing? More like they know what they're doing - ripping you off!

Jump with joy all you may want, but remember the facts...
Apaprently, blu-ray discs are very expensive to produce due to the low yields. Heck, even dual layer discs aren't used these days because of the inredibly poor yields, and now 100 GB? How poor yields will this prove? 1%?
You also jump at joy for Blu-ray, which has extra COPYRIGHT PROTECTION (or did you forget?), plus not region free (although we'll see if HD-DVD remains region free, however).
If Blu-ray wins, it wo...

I believe it's interferance they're worried about. But everything in the plane is heavily shielded, so it really isn't a problem anyway. Anyone heard a plan crashing because you "accidentally" happened to have a cell phone on?

I'm reporting that as an offsenive comment and giving you -bubbles.
Does it matter if I call it Wii or Revolution? The later sounds much better IMO, and that's why I use it (I know it's called Wii, but I still prefer to call it Revolution, mmkay?).

Revolution looks horrible on an HDTV? That's just pure nonsense. I have an HDTV and play Revolution on it and I can say it does NOT look bad OR horrible.
Please, come with some REAL arguments next time!

Dream on, Microsoft!

There's no sense in trying to force 3rd part out of the competition. Remember that Nintendo receives a part of all sales of games by 3rd parties. Further, Nintendo NEEDS its 3rd parties. Without 3rd parties, it's a failed console.
So there's no sense in dong what Perry said. I think he's delusional.

The image is 4:3 aspect ratio. Use a wider FOV to make the image actually conform to 16:9 - that's what I would expect them to do, but of course they are stupid enough not to do that - instead they screw everyone using widescreen. How long has widescreen been along and how long have we been using it now? Isn't standard screen going away?

Just admit it Microsoft... you want to overcharge for your proprietary external accessories so you can earn a fortune by stealing money from customers. Adding a wireless chip in the hardware costs like... what, $10?

6746d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

And yet you make a game, an FF game, your best game, the most selling game, exclusive to the console that you're worried about? Clever.
