Never had a problem with SP3 on my AMD machine.
And Microsoft cannot be blamed for the fault of some stupid OEMs.
Clearly Microsoft is NOT at fault here. I'm not a Microsoft lover, but it's obvious some OEMs screwed up by having Intel drivers preinstalled instead of AMD. So they should get the blame for this.
10 minutes? WTF? What's the point?
Lord Anubis, you obviously missed my point. Yes, IE7 is full of holes, but the site is making too much fuss of it. The link didn't crash. ActiveX controls does not install by default.
The site's contents is clearly not 100% correct. But they are right that it's better to switch to Firefox and that IE is targeted often and is full of holes.
Bunch of crap, I say.
IE is not that integrated after XP SP2. IE7 does not crash at the said page. ActiveX controls don't run without your permission (again, after XP SP2).
No, IE is not good, but the site is overdoing it.
(Not to mention the pictures has nothing to do with the contents of the actual site.)
As I see it... If you don't like the games, don't buy them. There are obviously people out there who DO like them. So why retire something when you can make someone happy?
I don't really care if it's sequel after sequel so long as it's fun. And I think we can continue to rely on Nintendo to try new things and innovate, regardless if Mario stays or disappears.
So where is the harm I say?
The more, the merrier, they say.
Well, good luck Acer. It's certainly going to be interesting to see how you fare in the now heated console wars :)
But I seriously don't understand why Nintendo hates hard drives so much, that they won't release one? Copyright fears?
Nintendo produces great games, but they need to grow a little in today's market. No online speech because they need to "protect" their customers and no hard drive because of... err, copyright problems, or just plainly because they hate it? The hardware FINALLY supports USB keyboards. That's good, but how did it take to get it? And how look did it take to even ...
Yes, at least it's a step in the right direction!
And I'm supposed to believe this? :plain:
It's widely exaggerated. Only someone who lacks brains would fall for this one.
Go, go, go EU!
Unlike some other organizations, EU actually seems to care for some things.
Ah, but I don't think gamers will be leaving the console because of the technology! The technology in Rev is superior to Xbox 360, but Xbox 360 has beefier specs, so there ;)
The game was delayed because Nintendo didn't feel they had "polished" it enough. As always. Just hope this turn doesn't turn out to be another disappointing Twilight Princess. Waiting that extra time wasn't worth it.
Well then, you should have scrapped Blu-ray when you had the chance since HD-DVD was leading before. I don't want DRM-infested media so I'll continue to be rooting for HD-DVD.
Whatever happens, happens, but Toshiba isn't dead yet. Don't give up, Toshiba! HD-DVD will live on!
They should release as multi-platform... no need to make the Revolution miss out a great game.
Sounds like bad news to me. Nintendo is afraid they'll put illegal contents of the card such as games and play them for free.
They've always been harsh against that.
FFS, are you all gender discriminators?
Just because there is a different gender doesn't nean they aren't human. Some will care. Some DO care. And stop making up facts about people you DON'T KNOW.
Women are no different from men. And we all know that surveys and polls CAN BE WRONG.
What's wrong with all of you?
Well put! :D
I'm not going to argue about how you're "wrong" and all that - and who wins, well, let's just wait n' see, all the more exciting, don't you think?
You mention the Revolution does not have the following, but what do I say to that?
DVD or hi-def video playback <--- Where's your DVD player?
Hard Drive <--- I agree it needs one.
nextgen graphics <--- Doesn't really matter.
nextgen sound <--- 5.1 is good enough.
Solid ...
OK, so they're funny, but, at the very least, the first commercial is crossing the boarder of what they actually may air IMO.
For the same reason you don't go out throwing insults against your neighbours or such, competitors shouldn't publically flame each other.
It's fine to promote your product, but don't flame other products.
Yay! Finally another Castlevania! Already looking forward to it!
