A new DS so soon after the revealed their DSi? That seems ... unlikely.
Hmmm. I don't know. I would rather watch a, say, FUN movie than HD movie X.
Wii is not meant to be a multimedia machine anyway. Get over it.
If you want a multimedia machine, get the PS3 or 360. I'm with Reggie on this one.
Hmmm. Wonder why this is showing up on a news site...
What is this?
Births usually aren't THIS tragic. Sony lost big time due to some executive's "bright idea." The fact that that executive failed to listen to people around him and that he isn't around anymore tells of an epic failure.
Sony has managed to stabilize the PS3, as they had to, or they would be in huge financial troubles. This does not mark the beginning of a PlayStation era, nor an era of Sony.
Graphical comparisons are useless. All that matters is the co...
Who are you to decide what everyone should do?
Who are you to decide that games are bad?
Who are you to lie down rules for others to follow?
Playing games is not a bad thing. It's just as bad exercising outside.
Heck, being outside is dangerous, as well. I mean, it's possible to get injured in all kinds of ways. Plus they would inhale a lot of carbon dioxide.
This is a discussion of apples vs oranges. Neither are good, neither are bad.
If you would like to ...
We can agree that you are an evil individual who likes to insult people.
And we can not agree that this editor is bad as a parent because obviously we know little to nothing about their family.
They may just be doing things differently than what you like. That is NOT a sign of bad parenting.
Not everyone is equally good on parenting.
Add to that, usually the "bad" part of a child comes from where he or she hangs out where his/her parents are not around. Don't think for a moment that just because it has worked for YOU it will always work for OTHERS.
Don't blame them for raising their child as they see fit, and don't start insulting people for doing what they believe best.
Right...
That is a nasty insult, you know?
Have you tried being a parent yourself, so that you can speak from experience?
I will only partially agree.
It is your responsibility as a parent, but just as we have tools for monitoring and doing our job, so should there be tools to make being a parent easier and more productive.
Perhaps you should try being a parent before spewing out these kinds of comments. Being a parent isn't as easy as you think.
A higher resolution to the graphics would really be a good idea. 3D really hurts on the DS right now thanks to its low resolution. And I am one who thinks the graphical quality of Twilight Princess is more than good enough (ie not one who hold graphics in high regard).
For 2D, the DS is just about perfect, though.
Can someone tell me what moron wrote this article?
Phantom Hourglass is the worst Zelda to date.
Metroid Prime Hunnters is the worst Metroid game to date.
That these two made it into the list is beyond me.
There are, of course, other games that I do not agree with being that good (notably portrait of ruin which was inferior to dawn of sorrow IMO and new mario brothers whose controls and sound effects were a little poor). But these doesn't really count.
When I can switch out motherboard, graphics card and I can build a notebook from scratch, and of course, when laptop hard drive catches up to desktop hard drives, then and only then will I consider saying they are superior and desktop should go away.
What can I say? It hasn't happened yet.
Saying that notebooks are cheaper than desktops is also wrong. I've been pretty much able to build a custom computer for performance, multi-tasking and gaming for about $400, excluding a screen....
Now I'm disappointed :|
I was expecting a real castlevania game...
Guess we'll have to stick to our DSes instead...
I have rapidly been losing faith with Nintendo, mainly because of how they've made their newest machine and how they handle this age.
Interface is annoying. Have to enter credit card info every time you purchase points. Points are annoying. Menus just take you back to the Wii Channel when you don't want.
No demos. Limited memory. Poor online support. Now they're even claiming hard drives are for the geek people.
Nintendo is a good company, but this...? This is unaccep...
The console is standing on the wrong end...
I'm hurt.
I want the japanese voices :/
One could surmise it is a HDD, seeing how they've come under such a lot of criticism lately and how they seem to hate to deliver any kind of peripherals to the system.
Let's hope.
The only thing I can complain about is SecuROM. The spyware that demands that certain products not be running in the background when loading a game.
Otherwise I find it lovely. No DVD in drive even!
This may be a step towards a protection that doesn't hurt customers. That's a good thing.
I wonder how long it will take Microsoft and Sony to copy Nintendo's ideas this time...
