Although the PSP is a great system and has an amazing selection of features and software (this year's game lineup has blown the DS's out of the water, only game I bought for my DS this year was DQIX) it is not a very good "portable". I can agree with this, because for one, the PSP's battery life is horrible, it's about 4 hours compared to the DS's 10+ hours, so it's not a great portable for road trips, this is even more noticeable during longer games like Mon...

The original Dissidia was great because all 22 characters had a unique play style. Now they're just throwing new characters in for fan service. It's going to end up like Smash Bros. where there are like 3 characters per move set. Kain plays almost just like Cecil from what I've seen.

On one hand, XIV on its release was horrible, on the flip side since losing so much stock and such since its flop Squenix seems dedicated to fixing the game. Given time I think the game can be fixed, maybe not enough to attract the casual MMO gamer who plays games like World of Warcraft which at this point is so newbie friendly it's not fun anymore; but enough to attract ex-Final Fantasy XI/Everquest players.
I just want to be a Dragoon in XIV, that's all I want.

Plus subscribers pay for a premium service, therefore the services available to them should be superior. The point of a premium service is to make normal users feel like they're missing out on something, causing them to subscribe to the premium service.

These new worlds will end up being completely irrelevant to the canon of the series.

This generation the only games they've made that are any good are on portable platforms.

Would be doing themselves a HUGE favor by picking it up, probably the most fun I've had in a JRPG in a long time.

Ps3 rocks like Dream Theater while the 360 rocks like Bullet for My Valentine. One is for those who appreciate technicality (Killzone 2, Gran Turismo 5) and experimental projects (Heavy Rain, Flower, etc) while the other is for drones who eat up whatever everyone else is currently doing (Rotations between Halo, Call of Duty and Madden).

You're right, I forgot because the only other game I really played online other than shooters on my PS3 was White Knight Chronicles.

What I meant to say is that even though the difference in numbers between 360s and PS3s out there is relatively narrow now the PS3 version still doesn't pull in as much people as on the 360.

I don't understand what happened where there are so few players online for PS3 games. I mean, even CoD barely reaches one million online at a time. I play Metal Gear Online (Best TPS out there IMO), MAG, Uncharted 2 and Killzone 2 online all the time, but there never seems to be more than a couple thousand people playing. I'm sure games like Warhawk, SOCOM and Resistance are the same way...
Could the reason there are less people online in one game like Black Ops be because the...

If anything just to prove they still care about system that esentially took the great company that Square had with Nintendo and launched it into the RPG goliath it's been for the last decade and a half.
I mean, they've supported the PSP tremendously, but XIII was the first game they put this gen on the PS3, followed by Nier. The 360 got Infinite Undiscovery as an exclusive, and Squenix didn't even bother finishing the PS3 version of The Last Remnant. Then there was the coc...

Halo's campaigns are always top notch, and make for great single player and co-op. However, I absolutely HATE the multiplayer in Halo games and vastly prefer Killzone 2 and CoD multiplayer to it.
Unfortunatly, most PS3 exclusive game's online communities die within a few months, I rarely see over 20000 people on MAG ever.
So yeah, Halo may be the best console FPS of the generation, but it's not a clean sweep, not by a long shot.
Also, if all platforms were ...

I use it every day. And this year was an amazing year for it.
This year alone there has been MGS:PeaceWalker, Persona 3 Portable, God of War and Valkyria Chronicles 2, and I'm sure a few others. People write off the PSP all the time as just some system in the DS's shadow, but it deserves better than that. Plus the new Monster Hunter is going to be sick.

I want to hear legitimate reasons as to WHY it's not best played on PC.

So I can play the game at its best, on the platform shooters are meant to be played on.
