Denver has high drug abuse and crime statistics. Save humanity, ban Denver.
...will probably have Blue-tooth controllers, a BluRay drive, built in Wifi...
oh ya, and a big fat PS3 sticker on the side!
OPM sold it's last issue in the states a couple months ago!!!
All our house would need is the drum kit to make this work. Who doesn't want to play this? You'd have to be nuts to pass this one up.
For quoting The Kinks in your post.
...despite the media's best efforts to rattle everyone's cages to keep us rivetted (for ratings).
Sony fans coming from the PS2 generation were not prepared for the fervor of angst awaiting them coming into this next generation. They were not used to the fight, much as the Xbox fans have been fighting all along as newcomers making their mark. But I think most people who have owned a PS2 will progress into a PS3 because they are not being received warmly by the Xbots.
They don't own the exclusive rights to New York City.
It says, "make(s) the PS3... the most expensive console to date"
That is not factual.

Either people have a very short memory or they're too young to know any "history".
A portable CCG? I'm in heaven.
there goes Sega.
Sega, we miss ya.
All this talk about New York is making me hungry!
Beat God of War on Normal, and then play it again on Hard.
Trust me. You're missing the sweet-spot of gameplay they designed the game for. Normal is a dry-run compared to Hard.
Politicians are so stupid that they'll try to legislate something they don't understand, like games. Let me boil the issue to to it's final form.
People think video games are for children.
That's the problem. Period.
But what I've seen so far leads me to believe it's just going to be a short, beautiful aerial fighter. I hope it surprises me with deep, rich gameplay mechanics, but I'm going to step out on a limb and predict a metascore around 8 (which isn't terrible).
I really hope it's higher though.
Just sayin.
but I'm going to go out on a limb here and predict this won't be adopted technology for a couple years.
Movies, web surfing, Ratchet and Clank, MP3's...
Now, where the hell is my GPS attachment? I'm ready to try Geocaching.
People will complain if you have to "install" a game, people will complain if a game has to span 3 discs and you have to get up to change discs, people will complain when the load times are too long becuase there isn't a Hard Drive.
It's human nature, I guess. To b!tch about everything.
The GTA series is not the least bit famous for it's "graphics", even though the trailer is pretty damn impressive.
I think we're all commenting here because we're fans of the game, not because we're fans of the particular console the game plays in.
Games first, and Rockstar sets the standard in this genre... not Microsoft or Sony.
Giggity!
