Well said! :)
For not embracing the Homebrew crew.
I was actually thinking that each actor represented the "avatars" of gaming we might choose to play with...
The writer/director should make a movie. I would love feature film this way.
This "news" is just as absurd as the news was that "sales have suddenly, dramatically risen for the PS3" during the launch in Europe. Demand didn't change, they were merely finally able to purchase what they had been waiting for.
And likewise, people who trumpeted the PS3 figures AS A RANDOM SPIKE are just as absurd as the people who treat the end of the launch AS A RANDOM WITHDRAWAL from demand.
Now we have all three consoles in all three te...
Cuz it sort of looks like him/her.
Bleh.
With the same kind of ass-kickery that Guitar Hero was borne with.
That's how.
Ticket sales of movies dropped off sharply at around midnight last night according to market analysts. "We were shocked when we looked at the figures, but they are impossible to ignore. Last night around midnight, almost no movie theatre tickets were sold. We can't say at this point what kind of impact this will have but it is shocking to say the least." Movie producers were not available for comment at that hour.
We post here don't we?? Seriously though, I can see where it would be a problem for some people, but I'd wager my son's college tuition that people who have tendencies towards addiction (cough: OCD) are the ones who have trouble managing their game-time. I mean, I don't have a problem sitting in front of Wal-Mart for 48 hours to get the next console, that just comes natural.
;)
Whew!
;)
I can't wait for the Portable-that-could to catch on.
"The United States is the world's largest video game market, accounting for 40 percent of the global demand."
"The penetration rate of full high-definition TVs in North America jumped to 5.1 percent in the third quarter of 2006 from 0.7 percent a year ago..."
"The game business is seen as the greatest threat to Sony's recovery under Chief Executive Howard Stringer now that restructuring efforts and strong sales of flat TVs seem to have pu...
bleh.
...was a heart-wrenching experience. (Notice I didn't use the word "game") I don't give a sh!t about the video-game vs. artform argument, but if games weren't as good as SotC, I wouldn't care about gaming either.
1) Re-release all your sega classics as downloadable arcade games.
2) Stop making Sonic games until you've figured out what it is that made the original fun (and a classic).
3) Repeat to yourself, "It's ok to make a 2d next gen title".
4) If you doubt number 3, look at the top selling games of all time... and of this year and last. Hint: He's a little Italian plumber.
The PS3 isn't portable? So maybe that's why?
Additional gameplay?
I might have to buy this one.
Sonic would be back at home on top of the sales charts.
I can personally guarantee that!
I try to post PSP games updates on here but they don't meet the fanatical PS3 vs. 360 level of attention.
Hang tight, things are really going to take off for that little bugger.
