They still fall under the classification of NTD (No Talent Device) along with shot guns and riot shields. At least some of the weapons in akimbo mode needs some aim. I don't think the problems are the weapons...it is the players that choose to use them to point of being annoying. If it becomes a problem then make sure you are on with a few friends and make it a point to constantly hunt them down until they decide to take their nuisance elsewhere...simple.

It's going to be a tad difficult for someone to FULLY use a gamepad AND wand at the same time...Natal won't have that problem. If fact I wouldn't be surprised if some of those Natal games may be games that were already in development that had some Natal features added to them...aka hybrid. Keep in mind they said within 6 months of launch (spring 2011) which would give some Devs about 2 years on their kits.

They obviously have the money to burn on lawyers and clog up the system with this idiocy.

Are these downloads also going to include rootkits? Will be curious to see which road they take with DRM.

I am losing count at the amount of times this has had to be repeated. It must be more convenient for Sony supports to just pretend the information doesn't exist. MICROSOFT HAS STATED THEMSELVES THAT NATAL WILL WORK IN CONJUNCTION WITH REGULAR CONTROLLERS. They even admitted that some of the games that come out for it will be hybrid games that use both like.....FPS most likely. There are other things that Natal can do other than control which can be used within game. MS is making sure the Devs...

Why don't you move some place where like minds can appreciate your attempt at humor. Open Zone...that way. ---->

You would say the same for all the pro-Sony developers only doing projects for the PS3? Granted...Valve has said some stupid stuff but I don't see any of those other single console studios getting raked over the coals by the fanbase and lectured on how they are loosing out on more money. Kind of hypocritical don't you think?

Treyarch stands no chance whatsoever unless they get a clue. Get rid of the grenade spam and other moments of throwing realism out the window for the sake of making something more difficult. You can make games more difficult AND realistic if you put some thought into it.

Last.Fm directs you to either Amazon, iTunes, or another search engine when you select the buy option. With no browser as of yet on the 360 I would suppose there will be no means of purchasing through Last.Fm. Although Zune is included so I would think there will be a buying mechanism within there...maybe Last.Fm will be accessed through Zune Marketplace...not sure.

Apple is the one running adds saying they are virus free compared to Windows...guess that is not the case. Pretty much proves that neither OS is impervious. Maybe if Apple had a big enough market share for hackers to give a rat's a$$ about them they might find themselves in the same boat.

We talking about the same OS and ideas that Apple stole from Xerox during their little tour of their offices. The mouse and icon based OS was created by Xerox. But of course changing the color of a laser and the disc material is innovative...correct?

I think they pretty much understand the importance of FPS games for their system. Safe to say that Natal will be an additional (optional) control method and if used at all will be in hybrid mode. Anyone trying to make it out as Halo on the Wii is looking create excuses for bashing purposes. The one thing they will have to address is if Natal makes a function of the game easier...that could create a case of "the haves" and "have nots" online which could mess with competitiv...

Your kidding right? I saw the video. The developer was holding the game controller one handed with his left hand and the wand in his right. You are expecting ALL people to be able to play a fast paced FPS this way??? Ok...let me re-word it for you guys. The only way you can use a game controller the way it was intended (2 hands) and get full motion control is with the Natal solution. By all means point out in the video where the guy presses the right trigger button on the joystick while he is...

How the anti-MS people complain about it being only a casual solution and not for hard core people. Then when they are illuminated to the fact a controller can also be used with it they complain...but but that is not what it is intended for. Guess what...everyone will be able to use it. All that is left is for the developers to create. Might be best for everyone wait and reserve their judgement...if their egos can handle that.

It was stated by Microsoft themselves that there will be some games that will take advantage of Natal AND the standard controller AT THE SAME TIME. So NO not all games will be on rails. Natal can also be used to ENHANCE regular controller based games. The problem with the wand solution is that you can't use a regular controller at the same time and most wand designs I have seen to date don't have all the inputs a regular controller has...that is where Natal will have an advantage.

Sounds like this would also be compatible with the new Zune HD then...curious to see how that ends up looking.

If MS were to make it happen I don't see them killing off any major titles for the other systems. Although I could see them putting out a lot of exclusive DLC for said games if they were able to pull it off.

Of all those people using price as their main argument point...how many of you paid $40 for a demo? So all those who paid for GT Prologue who buy the actual game will end up paying $100 for said game, but that is not BS? Point of the matter is those people will say that they will get $100 of play out of it. Same here...most of the diehard Halo players will get as much play if not more than a full blown $60 game. Not a diehard Halo person...rent and decide. Don't like the price then wait for i...

It could be the one advantage they end up having on Apple...seeing how Apple in their usual arrogance provide SDK tools that will only let you develop on an Apple PC. Zune could possibly have a larger pool of applications to choose from when all is said and done.

"59.99 at release? Please tell me if it was. I'm pretty sure it released at 39.99 if that."

Still doesn't change the fact that people paid $40 for a demo that should have been free...but that is considered acceptable?

Some will get $60 worth of play out of Halo...others will not. MS is not forcing anyone to buy it day one. Don't like the price...wait for it to fall like the rest have.
