It doesn't matter if they were 1, 2, or even a close 3. Microsoft substanially increased their market share this generation. They get to claim success. Prattle on about multiple consoles due to failures all you want...software sales back that up.

The console versions don't even come close to PC versions. Anyone who played in a clan when Mech was in it's heyday understands what the game was all about. And it wasn't all about Mech size...I used to take down larger mech's 1v1 many a time. It was all about manueverability and knowing how to use your terrain.

This tech is still a long ways off, if ever. This type of thing has a better chance of being handled by some type of implant vs. contact. While it might be possible to build LED type contacts, no where do they explain how they will manage to get those images to the contacts or how to even power the contacts.

Where in the statement did it say you would be forced to use any motion control? I am sure it would be an option for those who wish to try. The developers are not going to limit their user base by requiring kinect.
