Basically a PC without the driver headaches.
Excellent...one less person to wait in line behind.
Because they say so and their ego depends on it. Same as it ever was....same as it ever was...
By Xbox getting out of the gate first they captured the third party attention early which made the 360 the early target for development. That is why Sony went the exclusive route...not because they wanted too...not because they care about gamers...but because it was the only way they could be assured that the developers would promote whatever hardware advantages they might have.
I always have to laugh at the entitlement this self-proclaimed CORE audience exhibits. If a compan...
I WONDER what you could be refering too?
This is the problem with society as a whole. They have taken sex and turned it into a game.
Microsoft at E3 is usually one of extremes. Either they are doing their usual corporate ho-hum dog and pony show or they pull some things out of no where and leave everyone stunned. We all know how the ratio usually swings...we'll have to see.
Maybe someone should make a CourtVille game and make them the enemy.
I do not know where the hell they began to classify these as games. These are nothing more than a series of strung together advertising pages given a collectable mechanism. Most if not all make you rely on trying to get "others" hooked in order to make progress. Nothing more than a pyramid scheme for advertising. I permanently kicked this habit long ago when I saw how they were changing their games...
...Or would be obsolete the following year when they bring out next model. Original console would only have one controller. The following year the next model would have 2 controllers... etc.
How long did the MS fans have to put up with various RROD comments? Spare us the tears and self-righteousness....there are very few if any angels on this site.
Bluray is the single reason why Sony lost their market share. It made them late, it made them costly, and it made them whipping boys for all the media. They knew that they needed the PlayStation numbers to help convince studios that bluray was leading. Bring out a system with few launch games and what will owners do? ...buy bluray movies of course thus padding the original numbers. The ironic thing is that for gaming bluray ended up having very little impact in the grand scale this gen...but ...
Most studios don't have the resources or the time to create there own engines. For most it has less to do about passion and more about economics.
But....if the licensing increases beyond their means then you might see more studios switching or attempting to role their own...for better or worse.
Sure...for $800 and won't fit well if you already wear glasses. Not sure what Sony or any of their products have to do with a Microsoft article, but I guess if you feel compelled to mention them...

EXXXXCCEELLLLENT.
Can't wait. =]
Hopefully they did away with the BS third person view people would cheat with all the time. If it is a simulator then your ass is in the mech and that's your view...can't deal with it then go play your used version of Mechwarrior Assault.
The community is what really made this game great. The level/game editing tools that came with it were second to none. I still love to fire this game up from time to time.
Yeh...because survival horror has never been done before. /s
Yes, but you have to keep in mind that these are salary figures. You really have to look at how much time they actually end up putting into their projects. I am sure that alot of the overtime they have to deal with is uncompensated, so while it looks impressive at first some of the lower end jobs probably make a lot less per hour on the average.
Seems that Microsoft is on a every other cycle.
ME - Crap
XP - Great
Vista - Crap
Windows 7 - Great
Windows 8 - Possibly Crap
Windows X - Hopefully learn leasons from 8 if crap.
I think Windows 8 will be a great OS for touch devices but I already dislike the non-desktop feel...even when you try to tweek it to look like windows 7.
