Gaikai is a good piece of tech, but it is also a finished product/service. If all you are going to do with it is stream games then you are good to go, but if you are looking to do other things with the cloud then that is where you want development from the ground up. That is Microsoft's strength. You will see that as the services become more integrated with the system(s) a mash up approach will not always yield the results they want.

Just because you go out and by a Ferrari, that doesn't make you a race car driver. I am sure Gaikai will be a good purchase for Sony, but for anyone to just assume that their ownership of Gaikai puts them on the same level with MS in terms of cloud development is only kidding themselves.
Actually I call out BS in threads that I happen to read. I have zero stock in either company and can care less. But when someone tries to make an argument that one group behaves better than the other I call it as a see it...BS.

Funny, your talk from experience from an account that is only 58 days old? Since 2006 I recall a lot of BS being slung from BOTH sides of the fence. You can fix the bubble system by changing it so that new accounts start off with only 1 bubble. That way the people who want to act like asshats only to create a new account for more bubbles will have no recourse. Want more bubbles...then I guess you will have to earn them and behave appropriately.

None of these companies have set jack until said item is connected to my TV and showing me they have done it.
There are search tools available if you choose to use them. Maybe some of them trolls should go get some air too...I don't see you mention anything about them. Maybe if more were held accountable for the crap they say then maybe the social aspect of this site would improve. Alas...they just create new accounts...need to fix that.
Just because Sony and Microsoft compete in the same arena doesn't make them "sworn enemies". That is a view that the man-child mentality on this site has created... (the proverbial fight to the death). Sony is obviously trying to address the developer issues they had last time around. It has nothing to do about humility and everything to do with business.
Some people just try way too hard. Agendas are pretty transparent around here. There has to be a better use for this time.

Until MS releases information it is nothing more than conjecture and his answers are no more stronger/weaker than yours. The second part of my statement was directed at the general nature of this site...especially when it comes to who is better than who subject material.
