It depends on what one deems as “complete.” For some, it is completing the story, and for others it is completing all tasks and objectives. Usually when this happens, people will feel “that was fun, whats next.” There is always a whats next. Cant think of anyone that has consumed media and thought “I am completely satisfied and will not need to play or watch another. I have simply mastered this “hunger” if you will. I am able to get so far in a game and then move to another without needing t...
Same for me. I play so many games, currently playing oblivion, expedition, blades of fire, bg3 with friends , avowed, and Nioh 2. After learning more about myself and gaining mastery, I have developed an ability to get fulfillment from a game without needing to “complete” it. Unless of course, a game hooks me for the story, in which case I have to complete it to see what happens. I have discovered that in terms of gameplay, one can get most if not all of the expected experience in about 25% o...
Yeah, Im pretty sure thats what they are doing. Cant have people getting “free” games.
Lol. If IGN gives it a low score, its a day one for me. This method has not failed me thus far.
Cool game so far from the demo. I can sense repetitive gameplay being a fate for this title, but for me thats okay. I just like hitting things.
This is an example of the inherit greed people have. They want other rpgs to do what another game does, even if it doesnt make sense. Mass Effect had a different dialogue structure, to to mention that shepard is a voiced protagonist. Tav is not. Furthermore, we have a close to home example of why this is not so great idea. Dragon age attempted to copy mass effect when it came to dialogue structure, with slight variation. Im pretty sure most dragon age fans preferred Origins approach.
They should be happy. Elder scrolls, like pokemon is one of those games that is so much more fulfilling when you have no idea what's going on.
Because there will be other games that do things it cant do. If we set parameters, sure: Best game in terms of realistically portayed visuals . Best parody of real life. Most popular game. Now that would make sense.
The best…that is virtually impossible. Best of luck though.
I guess that means the game is trash?
It is quite subjective of course. Perhaps in some areas it “falls short” compared to the others, but makes up for it in other ways such as aesthetics or premise.
I dont think Obscur is that great, but I dont see what is going to compete. I guess kingdom come 2. Ninja Gaiden 4 will have to be the ultimate hack and slash game to ever be considered a candidate. Oh wait, I forgot aboit Ghost of Yotei.
There is almost always an anomaly. People look to often at a single unideal situation as a calamity, and a single ideal situation as a rapture. 😂
People get salty when games they like are overshadowed by other games.
Might as well be a feature. Heavy variable games are going to have bugs until AI starts helping to weed out bugs. Even BG3 still has performance and crash issues.
Its perception. People view certain aspects of gaming to be superior to others. I try to appreciate games for their unique, virtually irreplicable traits and features.
People just hate starfield. Just like with real people, more crap will be tolerated if you are liked or loved. I love starfield, but truth is, no one cares about building stuff in their rpgs, and bethesdas current direction is all about building stuff.
Perception. People vastly overestimate bg3.

There is more to existence than being shackled to ones loins
Cool game. Hope it gets more attention.
