Its “meh” for the average normie gamer. people that like starfields loop…. really like it, despite its niche direction.

Its partly true. Though Ubisoft could do something to take their craft further, there is no denying that people do lead perception based hate campaigns.
Depends. Is it “you died 50 times because you need to learn the games mechanics” or is it “you die 50 times because f you, no defensive options and heres a blindfold?” If its the former, sure. The latter, Ill pass.
Yeah, there are alot of them. But some of them have just enough quirks or differences to welcome different people. I typically cant stand souls games, especially fromsoft ones. But every now and then you get a Nioh, a Wuchang, or a steel rising.
Shame, because the game is really cool. Oh well, the curse continues.
Yeah, I would inly give scores like that to games that dont work.
Thats why I like it, its less like fromsoft souls games. Feels like team ninja and fromsoftware procreated.

Im typically dont go off of reviews anymore if I was already interested. I have found that if you have alot of really high reviews, it just means the game has features that resonate with most people, like pop music. When we see a range of different numbers, its most likely a bit more niche. I started playing it, and I already like it more than from soft souls games.
That’s apart of the reason Im sure.
I like hitting things, but proper hack and slash has taken a back seat to souls. Thank goodness for Ninja Gaiden 4.

True. Microsofts greatest strength is their ability to wave around large bundles of cash. They started using it for good, it then we are where we are now.
Its also how you get control, hence why they are doing it, and even Sony is looking to do it.
