I didn't ready any confirmation of anything. I read one semi-literate blogger's impression of something he heard.

"9:40: Did Barlog just confirm that God of War 3 will be in 1080p with Sixaxis and VIBRATION functions on PS3? He sure did! Whoa! Well, technically he didn't confirm GOW3, but he confirmed Sixaxis and vibration for the future of God of War."

Until we know the exact words he used, this is no reason to start hyping anyth...
Liberty City was already "New York". Time to move on (back) to London or better yet Tokyo.
I'd love to see it set here in Toronto, but then you'd have to deal with the frickin' Gardiner Expressway or the DVP, and I wouldn't wish that on even TheMart. Though there would be a distinct bright side in being able to nail all the two-wheeling pedalheads who think they own the sidewalks. ("Sidewalk, eh? I own this bat, mofo.")
Since GTA:Kansas ha...
Quit yer spamming. When you have more 1080p games, come back. Until then, you should have more than enough games to keep yourself occupied. Or do you just like to b1tch?

Hey, that's the first new bit of info I've seen lately. Sounds interesting.
("Who wants my sofa? Do I hear five bucks? 4? C'mon, it's new. Hardly used.")
Great find, Deepbrown - cheers. There's a lot of interesting info in that doc.
"As far as graphical appeal, the game looks at least as good as Gears of War..."
Oh no. Here we go again. Everyone take cover.
Anyway, I'm really excited to see that my initial PS3 pipedream is going to be implemented: motion control for "mouselook"/aiming. Not sure how it'll work out, but I can't wait to try it.
More important is the further confirmation of k&m support.
According to the articles I've seen, (most recently one on EuroGamer), the stats are cumulative since the service's inception in 2002, so the 6 million also takes into account the original XBL users from the first Xbox.
Terrific numbers though, regardless.
All indications that I've read so far seems to support that position. No actual online play, but leaderboards, achievements, etc.
Who knows. Maybe if they tune it to 30fps it'll be playable. It would have been nice to allow for that option.
The only way to move forward is to stop egging each other on.
Over-referencing both your own posts and other marginally-relevant (or completely out of context) off-site links comes across as a bit desperate and defensive.
I think many of us will agree there's far too much off-topic shens in the "Comments".
To be fair, both consoles' contributors do that. It's the nature of this site's community to stir things up. There are definitely more than a few rabid fans on both sides who are a bit overly-concerned their "opposing" console's bad news.
AFAIR, DOA isn't nearly as precise as the VF series.
Does this include original Xbox owners too?
I wonder if in actuality it's going to be Every Extend Extra (another Mizuguchi game) instead.
Though a sequel is long-overdue, playing an upscaled Rez on either console would tide a lot of us over.
Ditto, only in my case it was about 2 years after the purchase of a launch unit. Sent it there, full drive guts replacement and new warranty , free shipping back to me all within 5 days.
Were you taking a break from your job as a wizard programmer to post that, or are you just day-dreaming?
(Nice edit. ;))
Timing is more critical on VF games than in driving games. Makes sense.
Phew. I'm glad I sold them "bulletwitch.com" when I did.
Lucky bastards! Best game evAr. Pure art.
Good job! Especially in Japan. Well deserved.
If you're not familiar with da Quebecois English, you wouldn't get it. Move along.
