Your DVD comparison is invalid. You don't run a PC game directly from a DVD, the data needs to be unpacked and installed to a HD. For PCs, DVDs are purely one-time delivery mediums.
No, that's the just the peak power supply rating. Folding uses approx. 200W.
As for the rest of your nonsensical rant, no comment.
People have posted that they've left it on ever since the Folding client was released, folding almost non-stop without any issues. Not bad.
That was a little lame. Why spoil your recent record of polite posts with crap like that?
Agreed. Whatever the hell does it have to do with Forza? That guy's just babbling fanboy nonsense.
Sorry, -1 for you because that sentence caused one of my synapses throw up just-a-little-bit.
I have a PS3 and a spicy Opteron-based PC, but I'm still going for one of these new Quad Cores.
If you knew anything at all about ray tracing you might be somewhat impressed.
I remember blowing customers away in 1986 with the Juggler demo on the Amiga 1000. Ray Tracing's still pretty freakin' cool.
Maybe people will just work longer hours in order to afford one? ;)
CHECK YOUR CAPSLOCK KEY - I THINK IT'S stuck.
With each post you're looking more and more like a random-comment generator drawing content from a very limited database.
If the release is as bad as the previews led us to believe, it's possibly the worst port since COD. What wasted potential.
Granted I'd be more upset if I didn't have it for my PC, but still, it's a letdown.
Rest in peace, m'friend. You put up a valiant fight.
"Now how about killzone PS3 (e5 05 version). HALO3 killer."
Argh. Didn't you see the sign on the cage? "Please Don't Feed The Hype"
The lack of PCM linear audio really isn't going to bother anyone but the technoelite and opposing fanboys.
Realistically speaking, as with the other 360 vs PS3 bragging points, it's only going to matter to a miniscule percentage of gamers. As daily forum/news site whores, we have to realize that all of these arguments are really only among ourselves, not the bulk of console owners.
The console "war" is not determined by these petty skirmishes.
Yep, it's a very disappointing port. Especially after playing the PC version... Ouch. I *used* to be interested in this one, but oh well.
You are irrelevant.
No...Silent...Bomber... Fuzuck! Hurry up already.
These won't be that expensive. Apparently the D series uses a 1366x768 panel. They accept 1080p signals, but downconvert them to 720p. (The "W" series is "Full 1080p".)
I'm more interested in the 32" Sharp Aquos GP1U. It's a better 1920x1080 display than the Westy, and only $100-$200 more at most.
You have no idea of which you speak. The Bravia XBR series is generally recognized as one of the best. Love or hate Sony, you can't dispute that.
So this is what happens when someone posts something that actually contains some facts? Har, that's rich.
No one is saying Microsoft is going to flop. This was just a good look into how tricky playing the numbers game can be.
Relax kids, it's just business.
