Microsoft shipped 10M 360s by end of 2006 (13 months). Sony's shipped 4M in 4 months.

Serious question: On the 360, can you play a serious game (e.g. Gears) and download something from XBL in the background? I wouldn't have thought that was feasible, resource-wise. If it is, then it should definitely be that way on the PS3 in a later firmware update.
I was never expecting to be able to play a game of multiplayer Resistence, or even a major single-player game while downloading in the background. FlOw maybe, or a local demo, depending on the complexity.

There's no indication that this is footage from the PS3 version. All of the other previews I've seen (including the recent ones on gametrailers.com) are from the 360 version. I suspect the PS3 release might either be delayed or crippled. Not a good sign so far.
