But the manhole hasn't been open. This isn't about Xi being open, just the latest section.

This is news? Who submitted this, the author from 'thekoalition'? Why is it the 'koalition'? I see zero koala bears on that site.

So, Mr. Newell's input (so to speak) will be to advise them on elbow-axis motion to be utilised in a kinda-sorta simulated burger-to-mouth situation?

You must be holding the controller wrong. I have big hands and it's generally much easier with the Dual-Shock/properly-aligned sticks with the average game.

Take it to the extreme with the various tank-like controllers released over the years. Do you want two joysticks off-set by a keyboard/button-pad underneath the left-stick, pushing it above the right-stick? Nuh-uh.

Sure, if you get used to one format over the enough enough you'll say you prefer it, as I suspec...

It's not as clear-cut as "MS paid $50M for the DLC", rather, MS advanced them $50M towards the development & profit. It's not as if RS has taken the $50M and run away laughing; If they can't provide the sales, they're in a bit of a pickle.

I think that's one reason why there are murmurs of discontent being reported from the Rockstar side. It's sounding like one of the sides isn't keeping up their end of the deal.

You must not *have* put much effort into your book-school-learnin', either.

Regardless of how cool the L&tD expansion may be (and it IS cool, I 'agree'd), at least take a break from gaming once in a while to learn a sh!t or two.

I'm stopping right here. That source site really sucks. Not giving it another byte of my time. Sorry, deal with your design a bit more before expecting people to read anything on your pages. My eyes threw-up-a-little in my head.

They get serious points for using vB, but said points are lost with the execution.

With the increased emphasis on (or at least "allowance for") first-person modes, I wouldn't be surprised to see a redirection towards a first-person-focused (if not outright) sequel. It would be a decisive step in a new direction with a new character focus.

I didn't mind playing Raiden, but only after I acclimatized myself to the fact that MGS2 wasn't supposed to be all about Snake. Hideo's a wacky kinda guy, and I'm more than willing to go with his flow. Doing so de...

Agreed -- I was just going to point out XIII, a game that I'm shocked was missing from that article.

Absolutely loved that game. Was hoping for a sequel.

(Did you catch the made-for-tv movie "XIII"? It wasn't bad at all.)

I agree with you about the community and add-on advantages.

It's my collection of now-indispensable add-ons that prevent me from going the Chrome route. I love speed and efficiency, but FF isn't exactly a turtle in the speed department. Sure, comparatively Chrome might best it in a lot of areas on that front, but until Chrome can match all my add-on needs--or better yet, support actual FF add-ons--I'm sticking with FF.

Yay for free advertising!

Boo for the usual arseholes.

I've seen dozens of the Helghast-face ads on TTC shelters over the past few weeks, and they look great. The joke's on the parents, because the kids either say "Cool" or "PS3 Sux!1!" or "W'ever".

Reminds me of the Dawn of the Dead movie remake poster in the UK that had a composited picture of the dead girl on a 5 foot by 7 foot bus shelter poster. Some woman complained ...

The title on both this story and the source piece was originally "What Sony Have and Microsoft Don't", which was far from spot-on.

The submitter is from that site, judging from his submission history, and has since corrected changed both titles (twice actually, on the original).

The headline now has been corrected though. The original headline was "What Sony Have and Microsoft Don't".

Actually the title was taken from the original story. The site version changed after I posted my comment. :( The contributor might be the original author.

In your black-on-black situation, the CSS probably didn't load correctly when you visited the webpage. I noticed a big delay with the server when I hit it. (Happens a lot on IGN too.) Another complaint: The site stupidly sets the highlight colour to the background colour, so selecting text is a pain in the ass.

I'm not even going to bother with an article whose author can't compose a grammatically correct headline.

"What Sony Has That Microsoft Doesn't (Have)" is along the lines of what it should have been.

This is yet another example of why people should think thrice about submitting blog-based stories.

What also needs to be taken into consideration is the unspecified number of original XBox users in the XBL total. I doubt it's an inconsiderable amount.
