I hope we do. But please return to the brilliance and simplicity that was Dead Space 1.
@LoadedKlip
What impressed me about The Order was the Lycan reveal. The fact that the lycans are not just mindless fodder. But they are actually intelligent, can speak, and hunt Galahad as well. Having an intelligent enemy makes for much more interesting gameplay possibilities.
Add to the fact that Galahad is crapping himself, and is trying to run for his life, means that lycan encounters should be tense survival horror affairs.

I wonder if Destiny can become a bigger franchise than Halo, I mean it's on multiple platforms but will it have the same magic sauce? I definately hope so.
Well at the moment it's definately not a "prettier game" than BF4.
Oh and we'll probably stop saying "next-gen" consoles when you stop developing for "last-gen" consoles!!!
It's time until 2015. So that could mean 4months+ all the way upto 12 months exclusive (Sept2014-Sept2015).
But that doesn't really matter, as I think the exclusive deal already puts Destiny ahead in PS4 pre-order sales. I'm sure after the Alpha the pre-order numbers on PS4 will begin to skyrocket.

Yep, I'm going to end up spending about £300 on games before the year is out. TLOU:R, DiabloIII:UE, HellDivers, Destiny, GTA V, Shadow of Mordor, Far Cry 4... I think that'll be something over £300 already!!!
The Playstation exclusive stuff is only timed anyway, but I have to say Sony, played their cards right by courting Bungee for first pick on Destiny. I think it may well have a bigger impact for the Playstation brand, than Titanfall had (if it had at all) for the Xbox brand.
My sentiments exactly. The Beta going toe to toe with Destiny didn't do it any favours at all, and just showed it up for what it really is - an expansion pack at best, DLC at worst. If I had to choose between Destiny, COD:MW and BF:Hardline. It'd be Destiny anyday allday!!!
Lets hope Beta testers actually play their part and give lots of feedback to EA. There's alot that needs to be tweaked before this gets released. Although I have to say it is quite stable and I haven't encountered any bugs yet.
My top 3 games of E3 - Destiny, The Witcher, MGSV and The Order 1886. Those games are my automatic-preorder games. Oh yeah, and Uncharted 4.
@Ownage
Exactly why I'm going to skip Hardline. It's basically EA charging full price for new DLC game modes and maps. Calling it Hardline doesn't change that.
I can't see Hardline going up against Call of Duty this year, and that is a sad sad statement!
@onehandbandit
The audience is the same FPS multiplayer crowd. Bungee are obviously targeting the Halo crowd (i.e. the hardcore FPS players). Those same hardcore FPS players are also the same audience that EA are targetting with Hardline.
Both are FPS multiplayer games at the end of the day. But that is not even the point. The point is the oveall quality of the product put out. If you had been able to play both you would understant just how much Destiny shows...
In every aspect, Destiny wins by a huge lead. Be it graphically, gameplay, multiplayer, depth, immersion, music, sound etc etc.
Hardline wouldn't have seemed so lacklustre if it hadn't been released alongside Destiny. Playing both side-by-side made me realise just how much Bungee is innovating, and equally how little innovation is going into Hardline.
Hardline is an expansion pack at best. An expansion pack that will no doubt cone with it's own DL...
Exactly this! It's an expansion pack at best, and for that reason I for one am not going to pay full price for it. I've been burned way too badly by the BF4 launch I just can't trust that Hardline will work out the gate and be worth full price.
I've said this in another thread, but playing the Hardline Beta and then the Destiny Alpha side by side, the difference is like comparing a PS2 to PS4. Qualitatively, in every aspect Destiny shows just how mediocre Har...
Funny. Shame alot of the humour is literally 'lost in translation'.
But Microsoft do have to really up their game, it seems Sony is pulling further ahead. No one could have predicted going into this Gen that Microsoft would be in second place and Sony would be out in front by a mile.
No $hit!!! I thought that was what being in business was all about?!?
All the hype, the marketing, the exclusive deals, the spin, it's all for one purpose, to make a profit by selling as many consoles as possible. Same with Sony, Same with Nintendo. We fanboys think it's about us - the 'gamerz111'. But truth be told, Spencer knows that his job may well be on the line if he can't turn the xboxone around. He has to answer to the shareholders - not to the gam...
Exactly, and they should'nt have released their beta the same week Bungie released their 'alpha'. It just made Hardline look like it's still in pre-production.
@Neixus
For me the issue is much more than simply reporting bugs, it's he fact that EA are trying to sell DLC aka Hardline, as a full priced game. I'm NOT buying it - bugs or no bugs!
It actually looks worse than BF4. I know it's a Beat but man it looks downgraded.
hahahhahaah!
That made laugh so much!
