Why would they review it again?
Well because the gameplay now runs at a higher fps than the original. This has an impact upon both the single and multiplayer game.
Also because the graphics have been updated.
Also because there are currently no PS4 reviews for the Last of Us, and not all PS4 owners have played The Last of Us.
Also because with perfect 10's, it will win GOTY all over again :))
Random Infected spawns in Multiplayer. That would be awesome, and would add another level to surviving the multiplayer. But anyway I agree that ND should add... something.
Dude, it's the xbox fanboys that started with the screen shot comparisons last gen. There was not a single multiplatform game that released last gen without an xbox360/ps3 comparison to show how the xbox360 version was better by about 2 pixels.
Now that the shoe is on the other foot, suddenly the xbox fanboys want to "grow up" and suddenly its only about the "gameplay"!
Hypocrites!
I don't know why everyone is getting so worked up. God of War III had QTE's and that was still one of the best games last gen. Heck the whole God of War series has had QTE's and the games are still among the best games made. I don't get why this sudden sense of concern that QTE's are in a game?
Don't forget that RAD have said that they have branching QTE's, so even there they are innovating on the mechanic. Just chill people, they got this covered!...
Oh yeah, there's no doubt.
Yeah, I'll still pass on this. At the moment my October schedule looks like this...
October 1 - Still playing Destiny
October 7 - Alien Isolation, Drive Club
October 10 - Shadow of Mordor
October 10 - Dragon Age Inquisition
October 21 - Evolve
So yeah, I wont have the time or the money to splash out on Battlefield Hardline. Especially when I can just play Battlefield 4 instead anyways?!?
I'm all for a franchise, switching things up to keep it fresh, but history has shown that this very seldom works, and usually fails. It is worse though, when you are simply recycling assesst.
Call of Duty and Battlefield are the worst offenders, however in defense of Advanced Warfare, it looks like the engine has been updated, and it look dynamic and interesting. Battlefield Hardline... not so much.
I don;t mind when things get switched up but remains fai...
I hope Sony make it happen. It would be awesome for this to work with Project Morpheus. People would literally get lost is another galaxy o.0
Not much...
To each his own, and that's fair enough. But man, as good as the Evil Within may (or may not be), if you are getting a PS4, then make sure you pick up games like TLOU:Remastered on your travels. I can't judge The Evil Within before I play it (and neither should you), but I doubt it's a system seller, or of the same calibre in the same way that TLOU is.
I'm just saying.
As if I needed anymore reason to boycott this game. EA and Visceral should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves. They can't even be bothered to optimise their code on second iteration software. Lazy money grabbing devs do not deserve my hard earned cash. smh.
EDIT: I know it's a Beta and hopefully the final release will be 1080p 60fps. But somehow, I just don't believe it anymore.
Exactly, the Witcher3 is going to mak DA look like the last gen game that it is!
Well 36 different endings is alot, but I think they said it would be "world states" or something like that.
I hope they can use the saved game profile from steam across consoles. I know that PSN and XBLA are already tied into steam, so maybe, just maybe...
It is great Ready at Dawn are trying to push the limits of the PS4 graphically and in terms of story telling.
This is definately my most anticipated game, I'm fully in support, and will continue to support that type of innovation any day all day. Day 1.
Xboxne's eSRam and other issues is quickly becoming old news.
You can't really remote play on PS3. You can only stream media like music a nd video. Remote play works really wee on the PS4, as any game can be played remotely, it excellent.
It depends on the shoter. Shooters that are tailored to it work really well. Killzone MErcenary for example. Bordelands. Destiny played really really well through remote play. Games like Battlefield 4, Call of Duty still work well, but they are not ideal for remote play.
Not really tho. If that is Konami's showing then Fifa won't bother trying anything new.
Battlefield Hardline is not doing it for me, and alot of others out there. As a result Call of Duty Advanced Warfare will probably dominate the FPS space in the next year. EA have made the wrong move with Hardline IMO, they obviously are aware of it, and are probably thinking that they should have developed Battlefield Bad Company 3 instead. Well let's hope Star Wars Battlefront is revolutionary.
Some good points, but I agree with Transo1. There really hasn't been any game released on the PS3 or PS4 since TLOU came out, that can compete with it in terms of storytelling, gameplay and an overall emotionally engaging experience.
The gaming landscape hasn't really changed at all since then, and as such it is a legitimate entry into the PS4 library, and I feel should be reviewed as though the player has not played it before (afterall there as still those guys out t...
