I'll admit - Reckoning was full of fetch quests, but unlike most other RPGs, they were actually a lot of fun to do. I found myself searching through every building in the game looking for potential new quests.
I really hope a sequel is made at some point. It would be unfortunate for this fantastic IP to go to waste.

Both Tomb Raider and the Uncharted games are a joy to play through. The gameplay is fun, the visuals are beautiful, the atmosphere is perfect - they are well polished games and it's clear that a lot of effort has been put into BOTH franchises. At the end of the day it all comes down to personal preference.
In New Zealand it costs anywhere from $90 to $110 for a new game.

Exclusive content for multiplat games is never a good thing. It screws the fans over for not owning a particular console.
What if Skyrim's DLC was never released on the PS3? Would be okay with that too?

I'm not writing off Assassin's Creed 4 just yet. I hope that I'm blown away by it when it's revealed on Tuesday. I want it to be a good game - I just have low expectations for it.

It really wasn't. It was a huge step backwards. The first HALF of the game is an overly long tutorial that teaches you things irrelevant to the main story (animal tracking, etc). It's several sequences into the game before Connor is finally given his assassin robe - and even after that it doesn't even feel like you are playing as an Assassin.

Personally, I would never spend money on micro-transactions, but think about this for a second:
All the free multiplayer DLC available for Mass Effect 3 was directly funded by people buying the time-saver packs to unlock weapons and characters.
If other games use this model to fund FREE content, then I have no problem with it. If you want to see an example of how not to do micro-transactions - look at Street Fighter X Tekken...

Who cares about the box? It's the games that matter.
I'm probably going to get disagrees or hateful messages for saying this, but seeing people write "+1 bubbles to you" every time someone kisses Sony's ass is cringe-worthy. That's probably where the disagrees are coming from.
And just because the Xbox doesn't appeal to you or me, that doesn't mean you have to insult people for gaming on a different console. Xbox fans aren't going to be stuck with nothing - they will have a new console at some ...

MMOs never look as good as single player games. Destiny looks good enough anyway.
So exclusive content is now a good thing because it's on a Sony console? Wow, okay...
I'll be buying a PS4, but multi-platform games should contain the SAME content across all platforms. Timed exclusives are bad enough. Exclusive content is even worse.
