Good advice. Ijust went through a liquidation as well (clothing store) and at the end everything was $1.99, but it was all UGLY. :-)

Just letting you know: Bubbles for GlibGamer and Datruth for having an actual exchange of ideas. :-) Nice to see on a gaming forum.

Yeah, I like those ideas. Except for the fighting integration. if ppl were able to do that in Home, everyone would be running around smacking others in the head. :-)

Hey, even like a paintball room or something might be cool. It doesn't have to have all the intuitiveness of a FPS, but just a simple point and shoot paintball game.

I bet they could implement all types of games like that with relative ease. It would certainly help Home along.

What a pessimistic article. It's funny how you can always spot an article that just wants to dwell on the negatives from a mile away. Even at the end of the article, when he tries to show some optimism, he still takes a shot at the service by once again mentioning mandatory updates.

Hey, you know, I'm not saying he was totally off base on anything in particular. And I'm not saying that I completely disagree that Home can get a bit boring. But what's the point of a biased arti...

I was actually thinking of getting it as sort of a appetizer while waiting for Uncharted 2.

Ha, someone disagreed. :-) Funny.

I don't know, I dig everything Tim Burton does, except for the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory remake. That was a low point. Oh, and I can't say 'm a huge fan of Sweeny Todd, but that's just because it's a musical.

Otherwise though, I think he is rated just right. :-)

It's funny. At first when I saw this article, I though, "Meh. It doesn't remind my of LBP. It's just the way the character "9" looks, a tiny bit like a sackboy."

So i went and found the short film to watch, and I showed my brother, neglecting to mention how I heard about it. We watch the film, and he's like, "Wow, that was really cool." Then after a slight pause, he finished, "It reminds me of that game Little Big Planet."

So, what's happening here is what most of us knew was going to happen. Blu-ray is doing well, and it will continue to do well.

For months I read articles about how blu-ray is going to die. And I laughed at how hard they wanted to believe it. And I'm sure there will be more of those articles, because the negative ones always outweigh the positive ones.

But at least, for those willing to see reason, we have some solid proof that blu-ray is doing fine. In fact, bett...

I simply can't wait for this game. I loved the first one and bought it after beating it during a rental. I'm still playing the game just for the sheer enjoyment of it. And sooo many extras and bonuses to enjoy.

I hate to pay full price for a video game, but I just might have to when this comes out.

If Home just sort of "came out" one day without anyone knowing it was being made, none of these articles would exist. It's like, yeah, Home was supposed to come out a long time ago, and since it took so long to come out, people started to hype it up, and others got the wrong impression of what it's supposed to be.

So now, it finally comes out, and people are disappointed, not necessarily because it's not good, but because it's not what they expected, and they have be...

The more articles that come out saying that something is "dead," "dying," or "on life support," the more likely those things are actually doing very very well.

It's nice to finally see an article that acknowledges the success of bluray.

I think one thing we can agree on is that all 5 games deserve to be nominated.

Actually, I've personally only played GTA4, MGS4, and the LBP beta, so I guess I don't know for sure about Gears and Fallout3. But the first three definately deserve to be there, and most likely the other two as well.

Of the ones I've played, I have to say MGS4 wins, followed closely by LBP (only based on beta) and then GTA4. (leaving the other two out b/c I haven't played them, they mig...

I've been enjoying the home beta. Though, I'll admit, I've been looking forward to the open beta because there is a limited amount of content right now.

Still, It's exciting to see how this all plays out, and how Home will evolve. I'm not a huge online gamer, but I think Home might get me a bit more interested.

As for silly comments about delayed releases and advertising in Home: it's free and it comes out tomorrow! I'll deal with ads (anyway, they are integrated ...

If the only thing that the release of Home accomplishes is to end all these annoying articles, I'll consider it a smashing success.

I can't wait for Home to come out just to shut these people up.

His bottom line, and what I happen to agree with, is if the PS3 sold for a comparable price to the 360, it would be sellin' like hotcakes.

I personally (and I don't expect everyone to agree) believe the price I paid for my PS3 was worth it. I'm no 360 hater. If I had the money, I'd own both. But I wanted a blu ray player, free online, wifi, and a few other options that didn't come with the 360. Like I said, simply personal preference.

But, the point is that if th...

And comparing Home to second life is equally as (to use your expansive vocabulary) "retarded." Besides being a social networking application for PS3 users, it's a place to meet and launch your PS3 online games. The mainstay of this application is expanding online gaming.

Me too. But if you tried correcting the grammar in all the "blogs" and articles posted, you'd probably have a seizure. :-)

As Meus Renaissance said, most of the negative things that can be said about Home at this point are due to it's status as a beta. More than likely the bowling alley will increase in size, or else there will be more than one in the final version. The mall will actually have merchandise, and that music player people dance around will have more than 3 songs on it.

I'm just glad to get a sneak peek of Home.
