The series had its share of strong women. I mean you can just imagine a possible repercussion of this choice being that this woman was an actual witch and turns out to kill an entire village.
Let's hold off on the sexism articles until the game comes, and women throw themselves at your character again. At least that would show they've played the games.
They already are returning ti the series in a proper way. The way of Divine Divinity with the coming of Divinity: Original Sin. Can't wait for it!
I agree. I loved the advisors and the turn-based stuff, but the RTS part just didn't do it for me. Plus, why put an effort in the strategy if you can just win the RTS part. I ended up auto-resolving.
The game just lacks the coherence between the gamemodes and the controls are a bit clunky. I wouldn't give it a 9/10 no matter how much I want to support Larian and the Divinity series.
You're obviously right, we know nothing yet. I'm just a little paranoid as to DA:I. I remember vividly how excited I got for DA2, I'm not going through that again.
The POV in the pre-alpha gameplay (yes, I know, pre-alpha, but still) already bums me out. Most of what you can see in this is 3d person, almost like in TW2. If you pay close attention there is one point where he has zoomed back to the POV of DA2, but one of the (many) things I disliked in DA2 was the fact they chose not to continue with the isometric POV.
Consider me not all that impressed. Not sure whether these are next- or current gen videos, but there are little details that are off. For example, where the rope goes into the water, no splashing or waves.
Plus, the water barely changes the perspective on the shark when he's under water. It should be a bit blurry and contorted. (And great white sharks aren't actually that lightly colored on their topside, it seems almost like there's an albino shark swimming ar...
Judging from your use of language, it seems you have escaped from the set of Spartacus. But OT, Soul Reaver was brilliant, but I don't think reviving the series would work. Let's not ruin the memory of another great series with an MMO.
Oh Trip, you make me yearn for the long gone days of Carmageddon...
"Also the console community DLC purchasing power would pretty much colapse."
PC gaming has its share of DLC, that market is not collapsing, mod support or no mod support.
"Driving trucks into each other is fun, yes, but there comes a point when even that gets tiresome."
Lies! Blasphemy and lies!
(I so hope I don't have to wait till 2015 for a pc-version, don't forget where you came from GTA).
Totally agree with the need for a system alike to the one in GTA2. Gangs own a neighborhood, and if you've done a lot of work for a rival gang, walking through it should cause some havoc.
And if you've helped a gang they should help you out as well (cheaper services in their hood, cars and weapons you can use, a little help in case of unwanted police attention, ...).
That way missions earn you more than progress in the story or money, they'd have ...
Any game that aimes to look 'realistic' (as compared tot the specific art styles of Morrowind, Bioshock or most Nintendo classics) is going to have a harder time aging well.
And how is your 'great' sense of humour related to the article?
This is probably because I wasn't any good at it, but I had some serious buttonmashing action in TW2. The fact is, because you can now interrupt your moves to respond or counter an opponent, the fighting might feel faster than TW2 even if it is slower.
It doesn't need it, but it could be fun. The three characters mean that you could have three distinctly different roles in missions, instead of 'everyone shoot those guys'. Plus if I recall the only co-op game I ever really played (Halo series), the story nor the single player suffered.
The fun thing is that on one screen, you could invite your friends over and just have typical GTA rampant fun, without all three needing a (separate) console. I mean: street racing...
Guess you're one of those people who doesn't like replaying games either then. That's fine.
And then halfway through the bank loses your money on what they told you was a 'safe' investment.
I'm gonna loose the dog if I can. Never bring a dog to a gun fight.
Mission one: 'The Feeding'
there is a spoon headed for your mouth, press A to open it. Repeatedly press B to chew.
Mission completed
Mission two: 'Operation Potty'

'We don't need them, we have great games already' Can anyone really be against more great games on their preferred platform? If the answer is yes, than that person is an idiot.
Exclusivity is bad for gamers.
What do we want? All the games!
Where do we want 'em? On all the platforms!
