LBP2 is just so good. love it.
This is definitely happening. It was also a problem (to a lesser degree) in the original before it got fixed. Im sure it will again.

You guys misunderstood my point. If im going to "get one free," I'd prefer to be getting a $60 game for free.
For example, if prices are:
LBP 2: $60
Heavy Rain: $45
Infamous: $30
And you do "Buy 2, Get 1," you will spend a total of $105 for games that would otherwise have cost you $135 for a savings of $30.
If you get three full price games for $60 each, you pay a total for $120 for $180 wort...
Though not as much of a value since they arent 60 anymore. At. Least infamous isnt. Not sure about heavy rain

They had to do this in reponse to Best Buy doing a Buy 2, Get 1 on ALL videogames. I already grabbed lbp2, me2, and fallout: nv on tuesday.
Also, why do so many people think this can't work? Hasnt the pc sofware business been utilizing serial numbers with decent success?

The precise reason we dont have new consoles is because the current generation systems are ALL doing well. Each company has found their niche and developed quality products. No one needs to rush to the next gen. Lets not pretend pc gaming is a viable opponent.

Question: do any of you decide whether or not to purchase a game based on the presence of a few jaggies, overly dark textures, or slightly less than optimal lighting? Because if so, thats just sad.

Bestbuy is running a Buy 2, Get 1 Free on ALL videogames. I just picked up LBP 2, Mass Effect 2, and Fallout: New Vegas.

"Buy" implies paying money for something. You'll never pay the money for the 3rd game. Therefore, Buy 2 Get 1 Free.

No, I didnt contradict myself. I said he was spewing crap because he implied that only ps3 owners were dealing with connection issues. I didnt say he was spewing crap for saying he had issues with the ps3; in fact, ive already admitted to problems myself.
