So what exactly are you guys disagreeing with in my first post? That comparing dlc to a full game is apples to oranges? Or ditto for handheld vs console games? Or are you disagreeing with the FACT that cod remains one of the most popular game franchises around?

Im a ps3 owner and dont WANT kz3 to disappoint. But ive had to deal with the anti cod bias here on n4g for weeks now, so im intrigued by the underwhelming critical response to it.

True. But theres not REALLY an excuse for them being in the beta either. I dont really believe THAT many more people are playing the beta than will be playing retail.
Are there really THAT many people all playing the beta at the same time thag arent interested in buying the game? i know its a free download, etc., but its not like the whole world is sitting there playing a demo.
We can make excuses for the servers since its a beta...for now. However, if these issues continue in the retail version, weve got a problem.

Nope, you can't reason with these guys. I bought into the hype with Killzone 2 and picked it up day 1...and was underwhelmed (compared to the hype).
