Seriously, this is just a hit-grab. Year after after, this is the most highly rated sports game around. There would be an uproar if they changed too much.
In all honesty, the ONLY thing I would like to see overhauled is the commentary. They've gotten a bit lazy in that department and it's time to either record a whole lot more phrases (preferred) or an entirely new team (dont want this).
Fine. Open the game. Play it. Learn about it.
And then sell it USED, because that's what it is.
______
Also...you said both:
"First, we don't take the display copies home."
AND
"Third, a GS employee who can't take care of the game he takes home- that means having it scratched, using whatever exclusive codes are included, or damaging the case- loses that privilege."
For the record, you're SUPPOSED to pay tax to Amazon.com even if it's not charged. The government is [apparently] going to start trying to collect those taxes. You're expected to report it on your annual tax return :) ...not that anyone does.
That "selling an opened game as new" procedure is complete and utter crap, and could easily remedied by selling it as what it is: USED
Everyone knows that Gamestop employees bring home the opened / floor copies of the games to try them out. Then, when we go to buy a game and it's the last copy, the case is taken off the floor, filled with that "new" game, and sold as new.
That is complete and utter BS. Sell it as used, and take off th...
It pains me to say this...but I think Elena might die in Uncharted 3. It'd be quite the powerful emotional moment...
Who knew people with 3rd grade reading levels could write for videogame sites?
Great review...can not wait until this game releases. Absolutely loved the original and does not look like the sequel will disappoint.
LOL. That score is "way too low" ....so you give it a whole extra point to make it 5/10. wth haha
Facts. Like....no matter how much you BF3 fangirls cry, MW3 will outsell it.
Just throwing it out there: If your life is such that $60 is breaking the bank, don't you have bigger worries than the latest video games?
Sweet...Vegas here I come! Easy money.
Can't Wait!
Agree with Jake.
"Stronger security is more important."
Of course it is...which is why this should have NEVER been a problem in the first place. Sony should have taken care of this crap years ago.
But as you said, it's not free for all of us. I'm a PS+ member, and have paid for things I can not access.
This "think of the things you should be doing" argument is ridiculous. We're all posting on a god damn videogame website. Clearly we spend more time than we should on this kind of stuff. Anyone who loves videogames enough to be posting on N4G doesn't need to be ripping others for not doing "better things."
Anyone still defending Sony and ripping others for lacking patience needs to just shut up. This has morphed from a slight annoyance to a ridiculous situation. Having paid for a bunch of games just before the network went down AND being a PS-Plus member, I'm literally being robbed by this crap.
I'm 25 years old and don't have a lot of time to play my games. It's not about "getting a life." It's about wanting to spend my little free time playing ga...
"Surf along the coast until you glitch the game into giving you infinite items in your 6th Slot."
I hate when I get excited about a headline before I realize it's from HHG.
fair enough. I just purchased day of reckoning 2 online and it should come in the next day or two. i'm looking forward to checking it out; I never had a gamecube but now that i've got a wii i figured why not. from what i've read, it seems like the most like a sequel to the WM20000/No Mercy games. hope i like it.
A "leaf" out of nintendo's book? lol. HOLY MIXED UP METAPHORS, BATMAN!
