Well With Nividia's new hardware I bet they will say they will need to redo the engine to take advantage of it and will need another 200 Million to make it all work! ;)
Shall we take bets to see if it hits 350 Million before it finally sees the light of day?
Some people just gotta bitch about something.
I'm done with Desiny and ready for something new. After getting about 10 hours in on the Demo I think it will be fun. It's got a good blend of games and looks to do it right that I think it will be good. The story line sounded interesting based on the 3 missions I did and the graphics were very good.
No lag, but the graphics were not up to standard. I have Gig speed both Down and Up and Project Steam still limited the experience to 1080P. It was a good start and it will be interesting to see how it plays out, but 1080P on a higher resolution monitor will not cut it.
I'd like to see this game succeed. Just to see the tech used more in future games. Hopefully it gets flushed out more if it is somewhat bare bones at first.
@Bronkxs15 just as long as those targets are Green!
How dare you make sense Starchild! ;) Very well said!
that 16 GB will great for those that want to game and do editing. I'll be curious to see what AMD has in store with NAVI more then anything else.
Agreed, but by then AMD should have some news on Vega II and NAVI so I''ll wait and see. Not looking to rush out and buy anything right away. Just need something to drive a 2560X1080 Ultrawide Freesync :)
Interesting, I wonder if they rushed it. Didn't appear to be a big issue for AMD drivers
Holy Sh!T this may get me back to Nvidia now...
"Perhaps a more interesting bit of news is that NVIDIA has announced support for the VESA DisplayPort Adaptive-Sync protocol, which means PC gamers will finally be able to use NVIDIA graphics cards with AMD FreeSync monitors.
Just like AMD rebrands the VESA spec to FreeSync for its own products, NVIDIA has also incorporated it in the G-Sync protocol. To ensure compatibility, NVIDIA will be testing existing VESA A...
Robert's forgot to say that it will have all of that if they can get another 100 million in funding. Still waiting for the $50,000 edition to come out that includes a Death Star like ship.
With Limited Room Scale and inferior resolution no credit deserved. How do they deserve credit? That fantastic Rhythm game Beat Saber came to Steam first. Until prices come down even further VR is still a Niche product (VR in general). The biggest problem I think is having different markets on PC. It would be nice to have whichever hardware someone wants to buy (HTC Vive here) and purchase on whatever storefront with no worries about if and when the game or software is going to make it f...
Holy Crap.. Below is finally getting a launch date!
I was thinking of getting a Vega 56 around Christmas time, but with Navi now looming and if the Rumor of the price holds out I'll just wait it out and grab the RX 3080. Supposedly it's going to be 15% faster than the Vega 64 as well.
https://www.gamerevolution....
Exactly. I have the game pass and still ended up buying this game at the Ultimate version. One of the few games where I know I will be happy with the DLC added on to it.
hell I'm playing VR on my R9 290X so even some older GPUs work just fine as well.
My System is a i5 4670K, R9 290X and 16GB DDR3. Plays VR games right at high most of the time. Looking to upgrade the GPU to a Vega56 though.
discs... What are those things?
Enjoying it as well.
