Dead Rising 3 is SP. I due hope Ryse is Single Player as well or a mix of SP and MP.
I never noticed any framerate drops during the gameplay in both Singleplayer and Co Op mode before the udpate. After the update the game still plays the same. Only problem I have seen now and then is occasional texture glitch after a cut scene and it goes away pretty quick.
What I do love is how the game does not need to load when moving from one major area to the next. It has tons of action and plenty to do. I never got bored with it and I am almost ready to finish the ga...
It's too bad the rules are not set up that you should not be able to post a story unless you have 3 bubbles or more. That would pretty much stop these useless anti MS stories by Maria.
I wasn't including the AvP games when I made that statement. Those games were more than just Aliens with the inclusion of the Predators.
@mirwanda- Sadly I never played the Atari Jaguar game. What was that one based off of?
I have to agree. Still the best one is Aliens on the Commodore 64! This one will be a rental, unless the reviews are pretty good.
In 4 years swap out the video card for one in the $200 range and you will be good to go for another 4 years. That's what is nice about this is it is upgradeable. Plus you will save money on the game sales that Steam has as well.
It's not a bad way to go if you are not looking to build your own and just getting into the PC field. As much as I like the idea of a Steam Machine. I'll most likely end up building a new Gaming desktop and and dual boot both Win and St...
Yes there are MT in Forza 5. You do not need them to buy the cars though unless you are to lazy to play the game and earn the credits. It's their to take out some of the grind of the game. How much someone spends is up to them.
It may take awhile to get that Bugatti you want, but when you do get it, it is worth it since you and your Drivatar brought in the credits to get it.
I rather go with the LPC:

You do know that Metro Last Night is going to be available on the Steam OS as well as to the 300 Beta Testers? That game is a bit more demanding the Left 4 Dead 2.

Steam has not selected the 300 lucky Steam Users yet. The article is wrong. Looks like the lucky 300 will get a copy of Metro Last Night as well!

I would love to get my hands on one and give it a try. I'm really curious as to how it would feel for a FPS game. I can see how it would for an RTS and other games, but from what I read an FPS it may take a little getting used to which I do not mind doing.
My guess is Valve will have a set standard of requirements. Enclosure should be pretty standard only the parts inside will change and most likely the CPU and the GPU. I imagine Valve wants this to work and will make sure the vendors are on board with their plans. January 2014 CES will be interesting indeed.
The beauty of this machine is you can use it in the Living room if you like, or back in the office.
All indications of controller is that it is easy to figure out and use in about 15-30 minutes. If you don't want to use it, then don't, plug in a 360 controller if that is your cup of tea, or a mouse and keyboard. There are plenty of USB ports (2.0 and 3.0) on it to use.
I'm totally thinking about getting one and will be curious as to how much...
I put money towards a Limited Edition pledge before the kickstarter. I then decided I wanted to do another level higher than what I wanted to pledge and they refunded my earlier pledge the same day, so they have done right so far by my opinion.
I find it funny though that people bitched about them not using kickstarter to begin with when that was not even an option they could use. Now they can and it is still a problem. If I end up losing the money that I pledged then that i...
If it is on both the Wii U and the PC I'll probably go with the Wii U version to see what they do with the gamepad. Plus supporting the Wii U version helps the system out! Gedden7 link sounds interesting if that is how they are going to do it by episode....
Define low end gaming. I bought a Sager laptop in 2010 with a Nvidia GTX460M, i7 2630 Quadcore and 8GB of RAM and gaming on that has been just fine. I may not get DX11 with all the bells and whistles, but I do get most games on High settings with 35-40 FPS in both DX10 and DX11.
I'd still take a laptop with a discrete GPU as well though. If you have the money you could always go crossfire and SLI for laptops as well if you did not want to go the desktop route. Though ...
Probably will not happen since I doubt Nvidia will go down this road let alone Intel. Only works for AMD since they can put the CPU and GPU on the same die, but seeing how overall they make up small percentage on CPU sales since Intel still crushes on that. While I agree it may be good or great for gaming I still use my PC for editing pictures and video and who knows how good it will be for that.
For consoles where the primarily function is gaming (Xbox 720 may be otherwise...
It has some interesting possibilities and I like the idea behind it. It's too bad with how my living room is set up that this will not work since I have a Wall Unit media center that covers most of the wall.
I think they meant nextnextbox ;) or would it be XXboXX.
Must be a slow news week for Maria if they had to submit that article....
