I managed to get my Pre-order in at Walmart. Pick up will be Nov. 10th.
Been enjoying this and the 21:9 support it has from the beginning. Some of the best use of Atmospheric sounds in a game and spatial audio.
Skip the Sony TV and go with an LG OLED Set then! Very few TVs out there beat that in Picture Quality.
@tyasia0 I think what drives things is where are friends playing and what console? For the last 3 generations of consoles, Sony has always had the better exclusives. There is no denying that, but yet it comes down to playing the multiplats with friends. For my friends, they all prefer the Xbox for their various reasons, so I have the Xbox to play with them on MP and whatever other game I want, and the PS4 for exclusives. Out of a group of 10 of us that play, only 4 of us have both and ever...
@Derceto agreed. Ever since Eternal Darkness on the GameCube I have been missing a game like this.
Yes, but still considerably cheaper than the Nividia Workstation cards.
I am pretty sure I am picking this game up on Day one. I love Cthulhu stuff and this looks too good to wait.
Agreed. One of those games that's deeper than it looks on the fighting system. Sadly I'm still not stringing the right moves together yer, or mixing in the special moves or burn meter enough.
Very good gaming laptop setup you have there. Not sure how good DX12 plays with nVidia cards compared to the AMD cards since I believe DX12 seemed to take advantage of the AMD hardware so that may have been part of the issues you were having with the DX12 patch.
I'm saving up for a new desktop build this year and want to go full AMD with a RYZEN/VEGA setup. I've been very happy with my i5 4670K @3.4Ghz and R9 290X, 16GB of Ram as well.
What is your setup? You mention that the DX12 addition to the game caused issues to your setup. What settings did you play the game on to reflect your score? What hardware did you use?
Curious how this one compares to the Steam version and the Vive. Love it on the Vive and how it all plays. My one gripe is the house looks big enough to have more Tables than just the three that they have, so it would be nice to be able move to each table you own (assuming you have the Season 1 pack).
Not surprised by this at all. The price point is a huge thing. I'm more than happy with my HTC Vive even though it did cost a bit more. Having the room scale though makes up for it. I think by the time I added on the Camera and Move controllers for the PSVR the price would not have been that big of a difference. I may pick on up down the road, but not in any hurry. Wouldn't mind having a VR in two rooms! :D
Playing on PC with a 290X at 2560X1980 at Ultra settings and Fraps has been showing a nice steady 60FPS with a dip down in the low 50s now and then. I'm more than happy with that.
true, but it was not built from the ground up since you can turn DX12 off and use DX11. Gears 4 only runs in DX12.
I think it is me, but I can't figure out why. I've tried wired connection, and wireless and nothing works. My single player syncs up just fine from PC to Xbox One and vice versa. I also cannot connect to any online sessions on Horizon 3.
I have yet been able to host a Co-op session for campaign or do Horde mode on PC. It keeps failing to connect to the Gears servers on the main screen.
I decided to pay for 1 month of Origin access on PC so I can play this weekend a little bit. Already have the Deluxe Edition, but since I am off of work Monday and Tuesday I figure I may as well get a few extra hours in on it for a fairly low price. I have been looking forward to this game since the beta!
Ok, good to hear it works. Just need to figure out why I'm not connecting with the Gears servers to start a session then.
I can't even get COOP to work when I try to host it with a friend on PC. Still would be nice if they add the versus feature for MP for those that still want to give it a try.
Forza 7 and Star Wars Battlefront 2 are the two I am looking forward to the most. Love the fact they are doing an Empire story line!
